I contacted Josh to provide a quote on removing a couple trees and trimming a couple others. After getting quotes from two other Angie's List companies, I decided to go with Josh as his price was not the cheapest, but reasonable. The work was completed and I am very happy with the look of my yard after the work.

We parted company after less than two months of service. My driveway, which I will now have to power wash, has three tight wheelie skid marks and numerous straight rubber marks caused by excessive mower speed.. It has poured several times and the marks are still there, so it is obvious that it's rubber, not dirt. When I suggested to the employee mowing (not the owner) that he slow down a bit, he suggested I find someone else to do my mowing, then proceeded to tear up the front corner of my lawn. On purpose? It seemed so to me. Granted, it was NEAR the swale, but that area has NEVER been gouged before like this. They had also already dug several gouges by the swale rather than weed whack a little more.

Josh was very responsive and punctual. He did everything he said he would in a very timely manner. We are very satisfied with the results.

Josh responded to all phone calls before being hired.  He arrived on time.  The work was completed in two and a half hours as he worked consistently during that time.  He also checked repeatedly to make sure I was satisfied with the work he was doing, since I wanted selective trimming so that my palm trees didn't look as if they had a "butch haircut".  I really felt that his motto is "I aim to please my customers."  The clean up during and after cutting was beyond compare.  When he finished, my trees were beautiful and my yard looked better than before he arrived.  Would I hire Josh again?  You bet I would.  In fact he is already scheduled for a six-month check up of my trees next fall.

Josh Brown did what he said he would do, and did a very good job. It was a rather large project so the services were expensive. I was satisfied with the work he did. 

Job went great from start to finish. Josh is professional, prompt and thorough. He really has a passion for his profession.  I found it very easy to communicate with him and his crew. He came with no shortage of equipment; fully prepared.  No doubt I will be asking Josh back the yearly tree maintenance. I trust his judgement 100%.
Our Oak looks great as does the palm trees. The lot line look wonderful and no more like a jungle beside us. I think the birds are happy to as I hear a whole lot more this morning after the job then before.

Josh and his team did a great time cleaning up our back and side yard. Before my husband rented out the home about three years ago, he had a brick patio with rock and stepping stones in the back yard. For the three years that he rented out the house, no work was done in the backyard, which had become overgrown with weeds, oak leaves and pine needles. There was also an old, non-functional hot tub and wood playhouse. On the side of the house were bricks and stones that had just been dumped there. Josh and his teams cleaned every bit of it, working a very long 10 hour day without a single break. Josh also trimmed our oak trees in the back as well, which was no easy feat. Josh is a young businessman who is hardworking, honest, and takes pride in his work.

Josh explained clearly the cost and what they would do.  He said he would get to it in 2 weeks, when he caught up with jobs that rain had delayed. Then it rained for a solid month!  I called him to see if he still had me on his schedule, He did and completed the work in a timely fashion. They trimmed the bushes very well (rather than whacking all branches at one level). They forgot to remove one of the bushes. when I called, they came back immediately and removed it.

All work performed professionally. Only complaint would be time it took from initiating contract until completion, but that was due to an overdue baby and extreme rain. I would both recommend him to others and use his services again.

Josh is so compassionate regarding my new tenants [who just moved in] living in that jungle, he's letting me make 2 payments after he'd already done the full-yard cleanup since I couldn't afford the $400 all at once. As new Florida residents, we had many questions about the types of plants and maintenance required. Josh took the time to walk over the property with us and explain the good, the bad, and the ugly about our current lawn. Josh is extremely knowledgable and personable. We plan to have landscaping done in stages and Josh and his team will regularly cut and trim our yard.

Josh Brown and his team did an absolutely amazing job with our landscape makeover. I just couldn't believe the end results. We had to rip out 10,000 sf of old Bahia sod that was pretty much just dirt, regrade the yard, install a sprinkler system, install 10,000 sf of new St. Augustine sod, remove old plants and install new trees, install curbing and then touch it all up with fresh new landscape rocks. Josh coordinated with the curbing folks, irrigation folks, and did all of the final touchups after each subcontractor did their part. He really did a awesome job. All of my neighbors have complimented us on just how great our place looks now. It really is a complete transformation from our formerly dirt/dead grass yard to a beautifully Florida yard! Josh and all of his employees were extremely professional, detail oriented, showed up on time every day, cleaned up at the end of every day, and literally worked until it was too dark to work any longer. During the entire project, his workers paid special attention to our dogs who were in a bit of an upheaval during the process. One of our dogs is just a puppy and he fell in the pool during the project. One of Josh's employees saw it happen and pulled the puppy out of the pool before I could even get there! That's what I call customer service! :)
I would absolutely recommend Josh Brown's Landscape Maintenance for any landscape work. We've also hired Josh Brown and his team as our full-time lawn mowing service and tree-trimming service as well. They really do a great job!
