We decided to remove the carpet in 2 rooms and install hardwood flooring to match two adjoining rooms on the first floor. (I had used Andrew several years ago in a large floor project on another house.) Andrew did a beautiful job installing the new wood, and refinishing the existing floor such that the look is seamless between the rooms. He is an artist who takes great pride in his work. He is fair in all respects. Punctual and has a positive attitude. Most importantly he is a craftsman who is going to do what is required. Look no further!

Job went extremely well with no problems encountered. Mr Szczerski was on time and did a wonderful job. There was no extra cleanup from dust and debris and he left us with a beautifully finished product. I have no problem recommending him to any other person needing this service done. He is also affordable and helped us to keep our total project cost within our budget.

Andrew was awesome! He was super responsive and easy to work with. It was a last minute request just before the thanksgiving holiday and he was still able to find time to fit our into his schedule. A few other companies wouldn't even take the time to come look or bid on the job because it was relatively small and likely wouldn't be very profitable enough to make it worth the time for them. Andrew, however, worked out a time that was good for both our schedules for both the estimate, and the repair, and he didn't even mind that the job was relatively small. This was someone I had never met and just happened across on this website and, from the first moment, I felt he treated me like a long time valued customer. Andrew's work was truly top notch quality work and he was efficient and very fair about pricing, even considering the timing and late notice. Andrew was timely with his scheduling and very polite and always professional whenever we spoke or interacted. I would definitely hire him again, if needed, or recommend him to anyone else I know that may need flooring work in the future.

We have hired Andy before so we used him again. He is professional and meticulous and goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. He is excellent at cutting around doorways, ours were very intricate!! He even corrected and eliminated the squeaks in the floors. He made additional trips to accomplish this, because he did not have what was needed on his truck, after all, we added the annoyance of the squeaks on top of the installation. We also appreciated that there was no up charge for this much appreciated service. You can not go wrong if you hire Andy!!!

Nowadays, I'm contacting contractors for my house small renovations. I've just realized how important and hard to find a contractor who is punctual, flexible and professional. Andrew and his team just fall in this criteria. He was very punctual from estimate appointment through finishing. I thought this punctuality is basic but many contractors I contacted didn't have this basic. All the work was done nicely. I had to communicate with him using e-mail because I coudn't supervise all work due to my work schedule. He was very prompt to answer to my questions in my e-mail. It was very stress-free house renovation. His price was also very competitive. I highly recommend him for anybody who wants new hardwood floor.

Andrew is one of a few floor contractors that showed up.or could be reached after giving me the estimate. He showed up on time everyday and is very professional. He covered my doorways and counter tops to make sure that the dust was kept to a minimum. And it was!. There is very little dust anywhere in my house. He left my place clean. Thank you Andrew! The floors look great! He sanded them down then he match the color up to the already installed color on the stairs and hand rails. He also installed new flooring in my family room where there was carpet there before. I can't tell you how happy I am with the job that he performed in 4 days. My floors look brand new. Before leaving, he instructed me on how to take care of my floors and what to use to clean them. I can not say enough good things about this contractor. You will be pleasantly surprised with the results that you get if you hire him. Last note, he was also more reasonably priced that all the other contractors (about six of them) that gave me estimates on the job.

Andrew is  very good at what he does.  I thought he was very fair in his pricing.  His completed work was very professional.
He is very diligent. I had numerous angles that he had to cut, as well as six doorway entrances.  He accomplished a very good job, on a daunting task.  I tell all my friends about Andrew, he is truly a artist.

Kept dust to minimum and did nice job

Andrew provided a reasonable estimate to remove the existing 5" hardwood planks, remove any staples, and reinstall correctly in our living room, dining area and hallway. He told us what additional materials would be required and scheduled the job. He indicated it would be a three day job

He arrived on time on the day he scheduled and spent the first day taking off the flooring in the main area and removing the staples on each board. He began reinstalling the hardwood the next day and determined that part of the problem with the original install was caused by various pieces of wood that had slight differences in the width. Suppose to be 5" but as much as 1/8" difference was noted (thanks for the quality product Lumber Liquidators). He therefore had to match the runs of wood as best as he could, something A-Z could not conceive of doing.  He did a fantastic job but due to the unanticipated extra work in matching of plank sizes, the job went into the 4th full day.

When it came time to settle up Andrew stuck with the original proposal estimate even though it was more involved. With that I wrote the check out for a sizable different which I told him was a tip. He worked around issues on the fly and our floor looks great 1 year after A-Z Flooring destroyed our home. Thanks Andrew! You are great and a skilled craftsman!

First impressions are important and out of three Angie List contractors, Andrew was the only one to respond. Although I had a smaller job, he was attentive and scheduled me in. He showed up when he promised, was very pleasant through the whole process, and the floors look great. There was no mess or anything for me to clean up. My only criticism is that there was some stain left on the floor moulding. I'm not sure why painters tape was not used to cover the floor moulding. I highly recommend him. Excellent job and work ethic.

Andrew is wonderful to have in your home. He is on time, diligent, and very easy to work with. The floors turned out amazing, we will be having him back to do new flooring in basement.
