They are just very educated and professional. We started using them when we moved to the area. Their prices were better when I first started using them, but they have gone up.

I have been using them for ten years. They are very educated and professional. Just that they really care about my dog. They don't just talk to me, but interact with him. You can tell they really love what they do. They are educated and professional. I trust them with my dog.

They are great, at everything. They were quick to respond. They always pay special attention. Everybody in the office is great. There are follow-up phone calls, which is incredible, that the veterinarian actually calls every three or four days, just to make sure that our dog is doing all right. I wish in humans, that would happen. It's great. They have great follow-up, and they seem like they really care.

I brought my foster dog there and she prescribed double the dosage of the drug that is acceptable. He had terrible side effects. When Dr. Prior was informed she was dismissive, rude and unprofessional. She also had tried to pad the bill with unnecessary medications like a cough suppressant when my dog was clearly expectorating sputum; he did not have a dry cough. Another time I took my foster dog there she tried again to add extra expenses and eventually charged $111 for only a skin scraping. Then Dr. Prior said she should have charged more just for having to put up with us. This is unprofessional and unacceptable way to do business. I would NOT recommend using Dr. Jennifer Prior.

We recently moved to the area and the vet's were well rated here. I have had good experience with them so far but their prices seem extremely high. Our initial check up with them ended up being around $500 for both dogs. This included some sort of and quot;initial/new dogand quot; health check-up and some shots I was pretty certain were already given in our previous home State. Somewhat surprising but I went with it. The vet was very professional and courteous. We had an extended trip and needed kenneling so we went ahead with their kennel service (two weeks). There was a discount for both animals going in the same kennel and they assured me it was big enough for them to both be comfortable. When I checked them in the attendant asked if I would like them walked during the holiday weekend during the evening. I was a bit surprised as I thought they were let of the cage before and quot;bedtimeand quot;, but apparently that was extra for that service on the weekends. I had no choice at that point as I was leaving so I agreed to the extra walks. What was disturbing was that it sounds like they were kept caged with the exception three times per day if I didn't and quot;purchaseand quot; the extra walks. During the first week of our trip, I received a call from the vet indicating one of our dogs had vomited three times and wasn't eating much. She asked if I wanted her to give her a shot to calm her stomach and assured me the attendants in the kennel would try to give her extra attention with feeding. When I returned home today to pick them up the cashier gave me the damage...$950.00!!! In addition to the kennel fees, I was charged $300 extra for the extra evening walks on the weekends. When I looked through the bill there were three charges totaling approximately $135 for vet costs and two shots?! I asked the cashier about it and she became very snippy with me and said that since I signed their waiver, the vet could charge me if is was necessary. She was very unprofessional with her communications. I kept my cool and paid her and then she told me to go around to the side gate to pick up the dogs. I waited there for about 15 minutes while the kennel attendants casually walked past me over and over. Finally the dogs showed up and our older dog looked like she had lost significant weight. We also asked for them to be bathed and glands expelled. Both dogs seemed pretty dirty with no real sign of a bath. Not sure it even happened. I may continue to use the vet here but most likely I am done with these folks. I have paid over $1,500 this last month, have been treated very unprofessionally by staff, and believe I have been overcharged at a minimum and most likely charged for services that weren't even provided. Not feeling the love for this place at all right now!!!

An absolutely fantastic veterinary office, and they were very very professional in their dental care. I worked as a vet tech for two years, and their care blew me away. Nice folks who really care about your pet. Not bargain basement prices, but for the services provided, it is absolutely fair. My cat bounced back from anesthesia immediately, and felt fantastic that same day. A good sign that Village really knows what is doing when it comes to surgical procedures.

My experience overall went very well. They are great with my dogs and are highly knowledgeable in their field. I have been going to this vet for about 20 years. The staff is friendly and professional. The office is clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this vet to others.

They don't discriminate dog breeds, so my 3 year old pittbull whose never been in a fight and loves everyone is allowed to attend. Staff is knowledgable, friendly and seem to love dogs. The outdoor play area is fantastic, lots of grass and shade. They also have doggie toys, pools and stuff to do. The webcam doesn't work well for the outdoor, you can't see anything going on. The indoor one is great though, they move the dogs inside during rain. I'll be using them again for daycare, especially when it rains and I can watch her on the webcam.

She took the time to speak with me after the visit about his care, his condition(s) and testing. A lot of Vets no longer want to do so or claim they do not have the time to speak with the paying owners. She referrered me to an animal vet nutritionalist who I later used for a telephone consult to develop a successful home cooked diet with supplements for my dog due to his pancreatitis. Speciality vet services are expensive, but we were allowed to have our our regular vet work with her for continued necessary testing at a later date to reduce my costs Many vets are not open minded to taking dogs off commercial processed foods eventhough many provide very limited nutritional benefit and some animals cannot eat them. The diet change has worked well as my dog loves it, he appears much healthier, his coat is the most beautiful its ever been, and he never gets pancreatitis that almost killed him two times earlier that year. The clinic is located in a bad side of town and everyone wants to depart quickly at dark so I recommend getting an earlier appointment in the day. We never had a problem with the area or during a visit, and its easy to access and park. The staff allowed me to purchase less of his required prescriptions to make sure he could tolerate them as my dog had a history of not being able to take meds to reduce costs. I highly recommend Dr. Degen for your vet specialty needs and I would use her again.

We have used this place take care of many of our cats - particularly as they approached end of life. Dr Degan and the others (Dr Wilson and Dr Prior) supply a very high quality of service. All were extremely knowledgeable - and very up to date on all of the possible treatments. I will say that they both extended the lives of our cats and were able to allow us to keep them in good quality of life as well. I expect that the cost is somewhat higher than other locations, but well worth it to me.

The vet was good and so was the staff. I spent $500 on the last visit. The office is not in a very good neighborhood. I would go back to her because she did a very nice job with my dog and called us after the surgery to tell us how everything went.

We were quoted a cost about 4 weeks ago. In the meantime they had slightly increased their prices. They honored original quotation for spaying, microchip and other services. The puppy has recovered amazingly fast and we are quite pleased with their service. Even with the slight increase in price they are equal to or less than others in the area. In addition their front office staff is extremely competent (not like the previous vet we used) and nice. Everyone knows what they are doing and we will be back.

They are an excellent clinic. I like the fact that they have a lot of laboratory facilities and that they have extremely good doctors on staff. They treat our cats wonderfully. My guess is that they are a little more expensive than other veterinarians but they are worth it - their price is fair for what we get. Their quality is excellent. We would continue to use them in the future.

I would rather not go into why my dog needed surgery because it was a rough time for us however Village Animal Clinic is very well established. I highly recommend them to any pet owner. They have a tremendous facility with a pet daycare, a grooming salon and a boarding center.
