Joe Melbourne arrived early and performed a complete inspection of a house the we ended up purchasing. He was extremely professional, thorough and knowledgeable, with a very good eye for detail. He provided a very detailed home inspection report with pictures that highlighted the defects that he found. He also performed a wind mitigation inspection and provided a qualified wind mitigation report.
He went in the attic, on the roof and all around the exterior of the house. There was a drainage concern and he went to the property behind the house where there was new construction and inspected the grade to determine if the construction would impair proper drainage of the back yard. He was previously a builder and he has a thorough knowledge of construction. He didn't seem to miss anything. This is the second time that we have used him to do a home inspection for us. His inspection of the first property uncovered serious defects that we were not aware of and thankfully, we decided not to purchase that house. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a qualified professional and knowledgeable home inspector.
