Gold Medal Mobile Auto Detail

Rob Idol of Gold Medal Mobile Auto Detail was referred to me from a trusted, mutual friend. He promised to fully detail my car, inside and out, specifically all interior upholstery shampooed. After he left, I noticed that he did not fully detail the inside. He did not do any doors, cup holders, or compartments. He missed wiping down areas in the trunk. I texted him and explained I wanted him to come back and finish the work; he said he was busy for three days and would call me to arrange when to come back. After I heard nothing from him after three days. I sent him another text with pictures of the missed cleaning areas. It has been another two days and he has been ignoring me. I definitely feel like I got scammed! Update: After I posted this as a review to his company FB page, he took down the review section so no one can see it. He also blocked me on FB and FB Messenger. I suppose he won’t take the opportunity to make this right.

I called for an appointment and received a quote over the phone immediately and a prompt return phone call giving me the appointment details. When the day for my detailing arrived, the guys were running late, but they kept me informed about when they would arrive. There were three guys, and they brought their own water and vacuum and supplies. They were done about an hour later, and my car was just as shiny and clean as if I had spent $20 more and had to sit for an hour and half at a detailing place (which I've done in the past). They missed one of my pull-out cupholders, but got just about everything else. The thing I wasn't expecting was that apparently Gold Medal subcontracts out some or all its jobs (I don't know which), so I was actually serviced by a company called All Sunshine Cleaning.
