Good service on the phone. Expensive. I had a bad experience with a battery I bought from them. Picked up the generator to get it fixed at another place.

"Hi Clara- It was our pleasure to work with you on your generator. I personally was very clear with you on our original phone call regarding the costs involved with the repair. You agreed with the costs and brought us the generator. Later, you came to pick up the generator after partial repairs expressing to me that your husband was upset with you for taking the initiative and bringing us the generator without him giving you his permission. We worked with you to reduce the bill as much as possible to try to help you with the problem you had with your husband. I agree that you had an issue with the battery that you bought from us and attempted to install yourself. If we installed it, there would have been no problem. Regardless, we gladly resolved the battery issue for you at no cost. I had multiple discussions with you and felt that you were satisfied with the service that we provided. I cannot understand why you would now have a problem and give us a poor review after we did everything possible to make sure that you were happy. As you know, we strive to leave our customers happy. Let us know if there is anything further we can do to make you satisfied."

I signed a document with Evan paper stating that if the cost of the maintenance of my generator was over $150 that I should be called they never called me I assumed it was $150 when I got there it was $216. Also the generator was not running well when I checked it before I left and I noted that they had not changed the oil I had asked for regular maintenance on the machine changing the oil as part of that. The owner said he would do me a big favor and change the oil for free. I did not think it was a big favor it was what he was supposed to do. Also we have hurricane Dorian heading to us at this time and I think it was very unfair of him to not do a proper job and to overcharge me

"Hi Diana- It is with great regret that I read your negative review. When we spoke on the phone, I told you that the cost of the repair would be around $200.00 due to the fact that your unit was neglected for so long and you agreed to that amount. And yes, the amount with tax was $216.00. In addition, we did give you a maintenance service for no cost as you stated it would make you satisfied and your generator ran excellent when you took it. Further, when you were leaving our shop, your friend's truck had a dead battery and we had our auto mechanic repair his truck at no cost. I find it very unfair that you would leave us a negative review. It is completely unwarranted."

Raymond was awesome. Professional, courteous and prompt. He was able to pinpoint the problem with my generator. He wasn't able to fix it on the spot because it was an electrical issue. I decided it wasn't worth the money since the generator was a few years old and decided to buy a tri fuel new one. Definately recommend Piper. Their customer service was great too!

Job of overhauling my portable generator was finished in only a few days. Pickup, repair, delivery. The following year when I still couldn't figure out how to start the thing, the serviceman came back and for a reasonable fee showed me what I was doing wrong. All the while very courteous and accommodating service from everyone.

It was fine. The phone representative was extremely diligent and communicative in setting up the appointment, keeping in touch, service person arrived exactly on time. The only reason I am not adding to my Pros is because I will not need a diesel generator service again, generator is damaged beyond reasonable repair.
