 + -1 moreGot it home and on the same dial is the stitch width which was working fine before it was taken in and it broke using it the first time. Took it back in and was given it back with stich width and reverse button NOT working and the parts in a bag. $50 the first time charged and a bench charge of $25 for nothing working.
Description of Work: Originally taken in for the reverse not working. That was fixed.

 + -1 moreIt was a great class! For the price of the class, we got all of the necessary supplies except for the thread which I then found one to contrast somewhat with the gray vinyl for only $3. The owner and staff then helped us along -- we had printed instructions and only really needed definitions. From those printed instructions, we can make more purses as gifts for Christmas, now that we have completed one. I found the class to be fun, educational, and not expensive.
Description of Work: I took a class to learn how to embroider on vinyl fabric; we made a small purse that was fully lined and had a zipper inserted in it.

 + -1 moreThe shop is pleasant, stocked with quality merchandise and the staff is friendly and informative. My husband and I drove 45 miles from North Port because this was closest sewing machine repair service on Angie's List. I am glad to have found this great store and plan to return . The fabrics are lovely and a complete selection of sewing notions and machines are available. The owner and staff are nice and I felt I was given very honest advise. I hated to lose my old machine, but after using the new one I am delighted !
Description of Work: The service technician determined that my 35 year old serger had sewn it's last seam ,yet I wasn't charged for the inspection .A second hand newer serger had just come in , and the shop wanted to have it inspected before selling it. A few days later I came in to look at it and was very pleased with it's condition and quality. I was encouraged to try it out and offered help maneuvering the new machine. I bought it and am satisfied that it was honestly represented and sold for a fair price.

 + -1 moreMy machine was new and still under warranty so it didn't cost me anything. My machine was serviced in 2days and it worked perfectly. I have purchased two machines from Sewing Boutique and have been extremely pleased with the lessons on how to used the machine and the classes I have taken from the ladies who work there.
