Ronald Newsom

Mr. Ron Newsom did some interior remodeling for me in July of 2012. I would recommend Ron for ANY home renovations. He is a general contractor who also gets his hands dirty! Most of the time he worked along side of his men and he was very fussy that everything should be just perfect! They covered all of my furnishings with plastic and built dust walls around each area as they worked. There was almost no cleanup needed when they were done! (This is amazing because they jack hammered out about 1600 square feet of tile!) They worked every day on the job which is something that I am not used to. So many contractors start a job and then disappear for days or even weeks at a time! He estimated that it would take 2-3 weeks to complete the work and it took exactly 3 weeks. His estimate for the cost of the work was right on the money! Mr. Newsom went so far and above what was necessary. For instance, on the day that the hurricane doors were to be delivered there was a lull in the work. I looked out the front window to see Ron and his right hand man were removing the screen door on my front porch. Thinking they were doing this to clear the way for for the door delivery guys, I suggested using the garage entry instead. I was wrong about what they were doing. They had noticed that my screen door was not closing properly and they had picked up the parts to fix it for me. (No charge, just a kind and thoughtful act!) Ron Newsom is a fully licensed and insured general contractor capable of doing any kind of construction Beyond that, he is a master carpenter. He and his workmen were so kind and respectful that the intrusive nature of the home renovations were kept to a bare minimum. I will be remodeling my bathroom and kitchen next and Ron Newsom will definitely be the contractor that I hire.
