Pathworks

Ever since the switch, we have had many issues with Pathworks, ranging from poor quality of installation to difficulty in completing repairs to our unit as a result of the install. We finally spent hundreds of dollars late last year to re-route wires and patch holes. The most recent problem, and the reason for finally filing a complaint, was the simple task of trying to get information on cable packages, as we finally decided to get additional channels that we lost in the switch from Comcast. After two weeks of unreturned phone calls, we finally received a channel guide and pricing sheet - two weeks! With Comcast, we could have done it on our TV in real-time. Not only are the customer service agents unable to provide accurate information (we dealt with four different ones - all of whom either could not answer our question or gave us different answers), they also never returned calls, or, as twice happened in our case, cut us off the call. We eventually reached the general manager, and he was no better - no returned phone calls, etc. To add to our aggravation, we now find that it will cost us an additional $20 a month just to receive the channels we used to get with the Comcast basic package, AND that does not even include digital local channels - which we also had with Comcast. BEWARE TO THOSE WHO ARE THINKING ABOUT SWITCHING FROM COMCAST TO PATHWORKS - TRUST ME, IT WILL BE A CASE OF GOING FROM VERY BAD TO MUCH, MUCH WORSE.
