DO NOT USE Eco Air. No one does their job, nor takes responsibility, do not return calls, or keep promises made, use unethical & deceitful practices. System tune-up added refrigerant and dye & scheduled follow-up. Morning of follow-up upstairs A/C overflowed down the walls & electrical wiring on 1st level. I wet vac’d the water. Luis was a NO-SHOW. The office was completely dismissive, unconcerned, no apologies. Luis’ response “that’s crazy, that’s wild” when he showed up 5 hours late. He checked the safety switches, neither was working. He took pic’s of damage and sent to boss who offered wet flood detector, & 2-yr maintenance agreement. Luis left here w/out an invoice or agreement promised. Only thing he wrote for July 10th invoice: “I return today to complete the guy follow up did not notice any signs of dye at the air handler. System is currently maintaining a 17° split. And inspect the condenser in which I noticed a handful of specs of dye. System seems to have very minor leak. I checked the pressures as well. System is still maintaining pressures.” Did not address the problem at hand and what was actually done: • double safety switch failure causing the system to keep running • flooding of the Trane A/C handler upstairs w/in 1 week of tune-up by Eco Air • water damage to the walls and possibly electrical wiring below • replaced a faulty safety switch that was corroded with new safety switch • reconnected a safety switch with new wiring that was disconnected • put in the wet switch flood detector • took the duct work apart in order to put in the flood detector • taping up the ductwork with Fasson duct tape (that will not stay in place now leaving a hole in the ductwork bringing in hot air). Luis was here on July 10th and wrote up his invoice on July 11th. Received invoice on July 25th via email the office added DISCLAIMERS OF WATER & MOLD DAMAGE in all caps and slapped my signature on the invoice AFTER the fact. I did not sign the invoice.

This was a warrantied 25 minute repair on a two year old unit (that I purchased from them). The cost was $360 (the part only cost about $20) -- and we have service contract with them!! The tech was also rude when explaining why this warrantied repair cost so much (Short version: it's because they have overhead!!! And they are not a charity!!!) I think we are going to just forego the remaining term of our service contract with them and find another company to deal with in the future..... I don't trust them.

“shy·ster /ˈSHīstər/ a person, who uses unscrupulous, fraudulent, or deceptive methods in business.” From Dictionary Got into a shouting match with the owner of this company. The service was overpriced, probably not necessary and a Hugh UpSell with ever “problem” found in my 2 year old Carrier A/C system. I do not recommend this firm. Numerous issues with higher humidity and leaks. Owner became defensive and abusive on the phone.

Jeff did an outstanding job and clearly explained what he had done and gave tips on how to keep the unit running effectively. Thoroughly checked all components, cleaned, tightened and repaired minor issues. He was punctual and very professional. Would recommend ECO Air.

We had a very good experience with Eco Air of Southwest Florida. Jeff was very polite and knowledgable. He took his time to explain everything he was doing and answered all our questions. Jeff was very patient and didn't rush us while answering our questions. The office was very nice and efficient. We didn't have to wait long to get an appointment. Jeff arrived when he said he would be here and called a half an hour before arrival to let us know he was on his way. I would recommend this company.

JEFF CAME OUT TO DO MY NORMAL SERVICE (I HAVE A SERVICE AGREEMENT $95 FOR 2 YEARS) AND MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS IN TIP-TOP SHAPE! ECO INSTALLED AND HAS SERVICED MY UNIT FOR THE PAST 5-6 YEARS. I FIND THEM TO BE VERY HONEST AND EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL WHICH IS A HUGE BONUS IN THIS DAY AND AGE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR SERVICE OR A NEW UNIT IF YOUR LOOKING!

Everything went as planned, and it took less than a day. Also installed an ultraviolet light to prevent future mold problems. Removed all the mold infected insulation in air handler and replaced with new, Also removed blower that had thick mold on it. The blower now moves the air with more velocity and is quite noticeable. Also coated metal parts with cold galvanizing paint. They did a good job of cleanup at the end of the job.

Analysis determined that evaporator coil is leaking and will need to be replaced in the next year. Quoted approx. $1,800.00.

They came out quick and installed the system.  The compressor was very loud even though it was advertised as "ultimate quiet". THey came and put a "jacket" on it and it still is loud.  They did nothing else to solve the problem.  Then to add insult to injury, when we turned our sprinklers back on in October, we noticed the sprinkler right next to the compressor was broken. When I called, the "owner", named Jessica was very defensive and rude. I would NEVER use this company again, knowing what I know now.

We moved here six years ago and have had Eco doing our annual maintenance of air conditioning for several years. The quality of the service and the fair price has kept us as customers. In 2015 both our systems began to decline and die. They have helped us keep them going but there comes a time when it is better to replace. I did my research, checked out numerous vendors and prices.
We went with Eco due to their continued great quality and service over the last few years. Their prices were competitive. More importantly, at every step they worked with us on doing the right thing at the right time. Three guys showed up to remove and replace both systems. Totally professional. Fed them lunch and tipped them well (something that you should do!). When they left some five hours later, you couldn't tell that they had been here. Other than our two golden retrievers freaking out about what was going on, the entire process went very well.
Particularly want to thank Clayton for helping us work through all this. Also want to note that Willie, one of the three installers, was particularly respectful and helpful through the entire install process.
Overall a very positive experience. We're not going anywhere, and even with the 10 year warranty, we're continuing our service with Eco going forward.

The first couple times we used them we thought they were okay. The most recent time, however, they were doing our yearly service call and caused some serious damage to the air conditioner which ended up resulting in flooding in our home! Now they want to charge us $5000 to replace the unit. If he had just been paying attention to what he was doing we wouldn't be facing a huge insurance claim and none of the other AC experts we've spoken to believe the unit needs to be replaced.

All in all -- very well.  The first tech was not totally up to speed on the situation; however, the second tech more than made up for any issue.  I would recommend Eco to anyone needing residential AC help.

In the course of this service, I was involved with four employees of EcoAir. All were courteous, apparently capable and friendly. The first visit was on a and quot;Freeand quot; coupon and the service man not only checked out the situation completely, he even climbed through the attic to see if the absence of power was due to some problem in the wiring and he didn't give up until it was clear that the problem belonged to the HOA.

When I called I spoke with Megan and she was great! She was understanding and was able to call me right back and send someone right over. Clayton was the tech that did the work-very nice and professional. I had received quotes from other companies and also spoke with my brother-in-law who's in the a/c business and felt that the price was high for this. While they deduct the cost of the service call-the price of the capacitor was still about 50.00 higher than my highest estimate. Otherwise, I was very happy that this was fixed! The fact that they were able to send someone over so quickly was really worth the extra money.

It went very well. Clayton opened up the exterior unit while I stood there, and he explained everything: What year it was installed, how he tests the coolant, flushing the line, sanitizing the intake, spraying the unit with anti-mold liquid, etc. He then went in the house and read the temperatures of all vents, and checked our intake filter.

This was a $25 deal for new customers only, but for the $95, we got today's visit, plus 2 additional yearly inspections. We were very satisfied with his professionalism, and would recommend this company to maintain your A/C.
