He did a great job, He was available the next day and was right on time. He came back a few weeks later to make a few adjustments for my brother who is a professional pianist. I was very satisfied.

I recently bought a used piano from Goodwill that was in dire need of tuning. Mr. Smith came to tune the piano which he did. He also took the time to explain things that were wrong with the piano as it turns out it was 50 years old. He suggested to me not to put any more money into this piano as I am just learning. Instead he suggested to wait until I was ready to upgrade in the future. I appreciate the fact that he honestly told me it could cost anywhere from 500 to over 1000 to get the piano back where it should be and it would not be worth spending the money. I would use his services again in the future when I go to look for a better piano.

"I appreciate the positive feedback, thank you. As we discussed, I would be happy to help you assess a piano in the future if you should consider buying another one. It's sort of like buying a used car, where it is best to consult with an auto mechanic if you can :) Dave"

Response from DAVID SMITH PIANO TUNING & SVC
"This piano was very flat and had not been tuned in a long time. I raised the pitch back up and tuned it, all in one session. I mentioned to the owner that any pitch raise is usually followed by a bit of instability. When he called to mention a particular note I said I would be happy to come back and check it out at no charge. . He called back later and said nevermind, it was better. I would have been happy to revisit the piano and fix any issues, but sadly did not get the opportunity."
