He tried to lead us into a contract to build the home, but I couldn?t pay the money he was asking. I refused to sign the paperwork. We wanted the home to be a 1 bedroom with 2 offices. However, he listed the paperwork as 3 bedrooms, which would have cost much more. While the home was being built, he was never on site. The crew never had any kind of training. He stated he wasn?t the contractor and it wasn?t his responsibility, but his name was listed as so on my paper work. We became so in debt to him that he could have taken the house. We thankfully got him uninvolved prior to him putting a lien on our home. We were being charged interest on any amounts remaining, which we were never informed of. This continuously added up which we didn?t? approve. We eventually paid him off with the credit card to get him out of our lives.
Description of Work: He had been contracted for our previous home when we had a flood. They finished that fine. However, we were interested in a dome home and noted there was training available in Italy, Texas. He stated that if we funded his trip, he would build our home. We agreed to fund the training. He stated that we would receive money back, but never did.
