Tried to pin another employee's incident on my boyfriend and was being treated unfairly just only less than 2 weeks of work, w days before Thanksgiving. He's young and very hardworking. He has gotten many compliments from customers' yards he has done and was taking his work serious. He was loving his job until people like the ones of this company decided to rain on his parade. Very disappointing and a sad excuse for a company, no matter how great the quality of the work is.

Very professional.  I met with Mr. Landon Wise to talk about sodding my yard and what type of grass I would need.  After a quick explanation  of what I wanted to do Mr. Wise was very direct and stated that it would be more cost effective for me to go directly to someone who would do just grass for my yard.   Very refreshing to have someone looking out for the customer instead of themselves.  Once I get the grass in and set I will be calling back to have additional work done (pavers, bushes, etc.).  I have no qualms recommending this company even though I did not have work done today, I will in the future.

"[Members Name], I am very sorry to hear this. I sent you an email on June the 30th informing you that we would not be able to do the project due to the septic tank lines running through the backyard. After consulting with a septic tank contractor, he agreed with me that installing a paver patio over the drain field should not be attempted. I should have made a follow up phone call to make sure you received this email and am sorry I didn't. I just assumed that you decided to go with one of the other contractors that informed you that it would not be a problem. I would be more than happy to work with you on coming up with other options if you'd like. Again, I am sorry this happened and I hope that you will consider using use again! Regards, Landon Wise"

Landon is - Honest Hard worker Very skilled at his work Pays attention to detail Strives to make you (the customer) happy His company installed a very complicated landscaping plan for us and did a great job. We had lots of pavers, and lots of landscape lighting and it all still works and looks great. I would consider that he goes above and beyond what one would have to do to complete a job satisfactorily. For instance- - He helped me to hoist my hot tub up to our second floor deck. - He installed a very thick sub base for his pavers so that they stay stable over the years. - He brainstormed to fix some water runoff problems by pouring some sloped areas with attractive concrete that had stones embedded in the concrete. - His service after the sale was great. For instance, we had some pavers that needed adjustment so his guys spent hours to make me happy. - We needed some pressure treated poles installed for a pergola that I was to build and he made sure that they were very securely set in the ground. I would hire him again in a minute. This work was back in 2009 and to this day I still feel like I could call him and he would still take care of me.

Well, they do what they need to do. I don't ever tell them to do anything. If the shrubs need trimming, they do that, they cut the lawn, they do everything that we need them to do. They even adjust the sprinkler system. They are all inclusive.

Not happy overall. A simple phone call would have been nice explaining why they werent going to give us an estimate.

I agree with your comment 100% that "a simple phone call would have been nice", which is a mistake on our part. With this said, we all make mistake's and can not please everyone, even though I wish that was not the case. During the time you called to get a proposal, our schedule was filling up and the phone continued to ring. So with the overwhelming response for landscape service your proposal must have been over looked, and I am truly embarrassed for that. By any means your landscape project was not discarded do to the size or the type, it was simply an honest mistake. We found that landscaping is not quick project - dependent on weather and availability of surveyor, sod, plants, etc. Definitely worth it though.
