Description of Work: I had a Licensed Master Electrician come to the home I was purchasing to perform a home inspection of the home's electrical systems. I thought this to be a prudent decision because this purchase was a foreclosed home that was built in 2005/ 2006. The inspection by the owner of SCI Electrical, Steven Brown, turned up several problems that needed to be corrected before I closed on the home as well as having a project list of repairs that made us feel safer and more secure with a purchase of our primary living accommodations. The inspection cover the entire home including the home theater set up, in house stereo speakers, kitchen appliance groundings, inspection of the homes two main circuit panels (builder had electrical load balancing installed), the electrical supply to the dock for boat lift and power supply to shore power. We received a report that outlined what items were needed to be completed to bring the house up to code and what items should be upgraded to be as safe as possible. We submitted his findings during the negotiations of the final sale price of the home. As a result we were given a credit by the seller to make the appropriate repairs and our home has been functioning beautiful ever since.
