$22,000
I used Sandcastle Construction LLC for carpentry - woodworking.  He finished up in September/October of 2013.  It cost $20000, I don't know, my husband is the on that took care of it, $22000.  They provided putting a hardwood floor, tile floor down, removing old tiling and carpeting replacing it with tiles that we had purchased and we were out of state and when we got in state most all of the floor was done and he complained that the floor wasn't level and he had the hardest time.  Usually were I come from they call you or send you an order to level the floor and tell say they won't take responsibility if the floor, you know, if you don't want the floor leveled.  He just laid down the tile and the grout horrible some of it deep some of it is level on the surface even with the tile, its just a mess.  So how do you correct that, good luck, if you want to empty your house of all your belongings and rip out all your tile, which will cost you twice as much.  Plus he did wood work, he also resurfaced our ceilings we had popcorn ceilings in some of the rooms and we asked him to remove it and put up knock down ceilings and he was kind enough to leave our air conditioner vent open with nothing over them and run our air conditioning and contaminate our vent system that we just replaced before he started working.  So I have a lot of complaints about him.  He was very rude when I told him there was something on the floor after he was finished that I couldn't get off, he came over with a paper cup full of razor blades and told me to buy denatured alcohol, that's how much he cared.  So it was a horrible horrible experience, you know.  If it was up to me I would take him to court but my husband doesn't want to spend anymore money with a lawyer so we're settling and of course he claims no responsibility.  I had a floor expert out here who said there was like 70% of hollow tiles under my floor, areas of hollow tile.  I mean I can walk on a bare piece in my bedroom and you can hear how hollow the wood is.  Yeah it's really bad.  I guess I'm stuck with it or I can't take it anymore and I come into a win fall of money or I'm packing up my house.

Served as general contractor for complete kitchen remodel.  Cabinets, tile, and appliances were at an additional cost.  The project took 2 1/2 months and the owner was rude throughout the process.  If there were changes or deficiencies, he would complain or debate with me.  Cabinets were purchased through Lowes and not reviewed thoroughly at beginning of project so additional parts were ordered as needed causing the project to be delayed.  In addition, there were 5 other jobs being done by the contractor at the same time so the limited crew would sometimes show up for a couple of hours or not at all. It was impossible to get the furniture moved back into the room after the tile was done and once paid, they never showed up again to correct some deficiencies.  In conclusion, the cost of $42,000 seemed excessive for the job done.

Excellent customer relations!  So good to work with, great around our fascinated grandkids; no vulgar language, no complaints from workers!  Josh Rhea and his crew are easy to work with and paid attention to details and made changes as needed.  Guys cleaned up the work area everyday even though they worked late a couple of days!  Josh and the guys even hung the mirrors over the vanity!  We had to wait a couple of months before they could get to us, but we are happy we did; it's worth having great people to work with in your home.   The team is very attentive to details and work to give you a great job!
