We use Mary's Critter Sitters when we go out of town to care for our two elderly dogs and cat. Despite the extra cost of this service the convenience of having someone come to our home and the comfort our animals have staying in there own home is well worth it. They will come to the house as many times a day as you choose, feed and water, take them outside for potty breaks, clean up the mess if the dogs can't wait, call and notify you if there are problems and come up with possible solutions to issues as they arise. I could not be any happier with the care provided to my furry babies (yea I know a bit cheesy but I love my pets.) I also like the idea of having someone come by the house several times per day for added safety when we are away from home. They will also bring in the mail and newspaper if you request. I highly recommend this service.

She handles all issues with the pets and has done so for us for over 15 years. There have been many issues that arise while we are away from hurricanes to emergency pet sickness and she has handled all with care and professionalism. There is not a fines pet sitter anywhere!!

Our dogs were well cared for, all tasks we discussed were preformed and it was easy to keep in contact when we were away.

Mary has been our pet sitter for well over a decade. While we always appreciate her work, she and her occasional backup associate were an absolute Godsend when I was making frequent out of town trips to visit sick relatives. She was a bright light during that difficult time, cheerfully accepting assignments despite often having little to no advance notice. As mentioned in other reviews, Mary understands the special needs of ill and aging pets and works with the owner to bring comfort and support to our pets in the familiar surroundings of their own homes. I appreciate her collaborative approach to meeting the needs of our pets and have enjoyed swapping tips on our dogs' exercise preferences. Mary provides comfort in knowing our pets and home are well cared for in our absence. We are blessed to have her caring and dedicated attentions.

We found Mary several years ago and have used her ever since. She is punctual, responsible, friendly and very sweet. We had an elderly cat that needed special care and she was able to provide all the care required. She'll feed your pets but she'll water plants, bring in the mail and paper, put your trash out, anything you need done. Mary's Critter Sitter is very organized and professional. She keeps records on you and she'll transport your pets to the vet if there's an emergency. She will evacuate your pets if there's hurricane evacuation. I've been using her for three years.

I am very, very picky and Mary is the only one I trust with my pets. She is very responsible. We didn't have to evacuate for the hurricane, but people in low lying areas had to evacuate and she was sitting for these people. She and he husband took all of the animals in two vans and evacuated those animals to a hotel. She is very dedicated. It's a great service and anything we need her to do during the visit, people think I am crazy but I do spend a lot of money but it gives peace of mind, I know know that she does exactly what she does she will do. She charges $15 per visit; a visit is anything from half an hour to forty-five minutes and she'll do whatever you need her to do in that time-frame. So if it's just the cat, she'll come twice a day when we are not here at all and once a day on the day that we leave and the day we come back. If it's the dog, the cat, and the fish, she'll come three times a day. So it comes anywhere from $15 to $45 a day, but her base rate is $15 per visit. She'll also do anything like bring in the mail, newspaper, put the lights off and on, put the garbage out, the recycling, clean up and vacuum, do the litter boxes, watering, the food, walk the animals, administer medications, etc. And if you need her to take your animals to the vet when you are unable to, she will come and make a special trip and take the animals to the vet for you.

I can't compliment Mary's Critter Sitter enough. Reliable. Trustworthy. Helpful. Cooperative. Kind and Loving to the pets. The company is bonded and insured. Very professional and have taken care of our dogs for several years with no hesitations. They spend 30 minutes at each visit. We use them 4 times a day when we are away. (An early morning, Noon, 5pm for Meals and Late night). They currently charge us $15 a visit for two small dogs. At $60/a day we get peace of mind knowing our dogs are healthy in their own environment, being looked after, fed and played with and our home is secure.
