Could not be more pleased. We had a week's delay in having the factory ship to the store but we were willing to wait and the Floor Store was very kind to keep us informed. It arrived on a Monday and the 2-man team was at our door Wednesday at 0900. They were done by 1400 hrs. It was hot and muggy that day but they got it done and were very conscientious, answered questions and we could not be more pleased...they removed the old carpeting and we plan to use them again for projects toward the end of the year....Highly recommend. I would never have tackled this on my own.

Overall the process is smooth. We paved laminate wood on the whole living room area. We wanted it done before our moving it day, and did it.  Nothing really to complaint about their work.

The floor they put look gorgeous. They are so convenient and so easy to get. They started a bit late. They are professional and they have a good product. They were very helpful at the store and directed us in many ways. They were very knowledgeable. I will use them in the future.

It was a little bit ruff. It turned out it was an extremely limited pattern. There was an original board only in every 3 boards. I had to order 5 boxes of the flooring to make it work. The company didn’t even know anything about this pattern; they knew nothing about there being an issue. They store told me they just sell it. We had to discard almost a quarter of the boards to correct this issue with the pattern. I asked the manager to come out and see the problem, I was told that with this kind of manufacturing there is always an issue with the pattern. The installers were told to do whatever they needed to fix it. Its Armstrong flooring, they are aware of this issue because people have complained about it on their site. I was charged an additional $400+ to fix the bad pattern in the flooring. Basically there was a lot of waste because the pattern is so problematic. It was supposed to take 3 days to put it in. It was 4 weeks before they could install it and when we discovered it was a bad pattern it took another week and half to fix. My house was torn up for 2 weeks. When I talked to him about the messed up pattern he asked me how many boxes I needed, he never went over that I would have to pay more. I assumed I would have to pay but he never let me know it would be $400+. The installers were really good and I was really happy. I can live with the floor but, I’m really disappointed in the attitude of the store owner. When I asked him why he never told me about the repeat bad pattern he told me he couldn’t know everything he was selling and that all of the patterns were like that. He’s not very knowledgeable and I would not recommend people to go there. I would advise anyone to put flooring down to buy a sample box to help them out.

Awful! I selected a 16x16and quot; tile , the size was discussed multiple times while looking at the various tiles available in our price range and color. When we'd decided on a style ,we were given an invoice to sign which had only the style number as a descriptor. We were told the tile would be in in approximately 2 weeks When the tile installer came with the tile, it was 12and quot; tiles. Not what I wanted or what I thought I was ordering. The response from the Floor store was, and quot;we don't make mistakesand quot; and and quot;you signed the invoiceand quot; Although they admitted there was no way I could know that the style number was for the 12and quot; and not the 16and quot; tiles. I was charged a restocking fee on the 12and quot; tiles, which angered me even more. I had to move forward as Thanksgiving was right around the corner and we had taken up all the old flooring in the majority of the house. We were expecting company, who would be staying with us, among them my daughter's fiancand eacute; that we were meeting for the first time. There handling of this situation was abysmal and I would never recommend them to anyone since anything that goes wrong will be the customer's problem as they don't make mistakes.

They were very satisfactory. They seemed to understand, their prices were competitive, and they did the work as promised.

The entire cost of the project was about $15000 o $18000. Overall I would give them an 'A'. I thought they were excellent and their work was excellent. They were very easily reachable my email and phone.

We had the Floor Store of Newberry put wood flooring in our living room and office. The customer service was wonderful from the first call to the show room to the cleanup from installation. Dale was helpful and easy to work with. The crew that installed did leave around 330-4 everyday, but we didn't mind since that is when are kids come home and it would have been impossible for them to work with everyone home. The install took three days. We are planning to use them again this year for new flooring in the rest of the house.

Wood and materials were delivered on Monday. The crew showed up midmorning on Tuesday and left approximately 3:30 PM with the floor partially installed. They had to move furniture and old carpet before starting the install. They had to glue the wood together, so straps were installed to hold the wood for set up. The crew showed up again midmorning on Wednesday and finished the flooring install. They put the furniture and room back together by approximately 3:30 PM. Overall the work was satisfactory!
Because the wood had to be glued together, and door transitions glued down, the job could not be done in one day. Their work is good, and their price is good but they could show up earlier in the day. I would recommend the Floor store of Newberry to others.

I needed to replace some carpet because of water damage. I'd once had a bad experience with new carpets off-gassing, being smelly and giving me headaches, so I was very concerned about findingsome that were environmentally friendly , with no off-gassing from the carpet, the pad, or any glues used. I called a couple of the larger carpet sales businesses in Gainesville but they seemed COMPLETELY clueless about green carpets and VOCs! I went to Indigo, the local green store and though they had a lot of info, they were expensive and had a limited selection. Then I called the Floor Store. I talked to Andy, one of the owners. The guy was great--a wealth of info on carpets and all flooring. He certainly had heard of green carpets and VOCs! He was happy to answer all my questions and was very informative. It was well worth the drive out to look at the carpets he offered. They sent me home with samples of some carpet that was environmentally friendly and not too expensive and guranteed stain-proof. I poured balsamic vinegar on it and it did not stain. I poured straight bleach and it did not change the color--great stuff! Smart strand it is called.
We chose a low/no VOC carpet and got quality pad for the areas we wanted to replace and we asked them to repair and put new pad under one of the carpets that was not badly damaged. They were cool with all of that--no pressure to replace all the carpet. They came out when they said they would and did it all in one day. The carpet looks great--and they are amazingly soft. The overall cost was a little higher than we wanted but it included two sets of staircases and several rooms--and exactly the carpet we wanted. They workmen were friendly and did a great job! They were very obliging and willing to put in extra effort on the stairs. They also were very willing to explain when we had questions. The carpet is amazingly soft and, though we have had some pet accidents since then--it cleans up great and doesn' t smell. Andy knows his stuff!!

I had four rooms that were carpeted redone in vinyl flooring. The guys who came out to install were late getting to my house, installed the flooring but left gaps 1/2in in some places and crooked. After several phone calls, they came back and had to to install larger metal room dividers to cover the gaps. Within 6 months the floor started "bubbling" and I was told by the store that it was not an issue with their floors it was the way it was installed and the guys they had hired no longer worked with them so I would need to contact them. Of course they would not provide contact info so I ended up getting Home Depot to redo my floors.

They finally pulled a guy out of Jacksonville and he was able to get it looking proper. He did mention that the floor was on its last leg due to all the different work that had to be done to fix original problem. The original company charged this contractor and held 1000 dollars to keep it as a retain age. I ended up asking the Floor Store if it was ok to pay the contractor the 1000 and they would re emberse me. They said that was no problem. When we went to pick up the check from the Floor Store, they said the changed their mind and were not going to give it back to me.

Installers did a great job and were very professional!
