DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Rip off artists! Initial quote was almost 2k for two metal panels, plywood, felt, and labor. When area was explored, all that was needed was the replacement of one metal panel! A $600 job AT THE MOST! We were charged for labor, parts not used, etc. Dishonest and just GREEDY AND BAD BUSINESS! We had to call them numerous times for an estimate - nobody seemed to want to even return our call or take responsibility for making a decision. The person who came out to do the repair brought the wrong panel. Several days later they brought the right sized panel and put it in. Took less than half an hour to get the panel off and on. When I did get a call about the estimate, they stood firm on only reducing the bill by one panel and an additional symbolic amount. I was not pleased, but agreed to pay. They had us over a barrel - as they will to you. Be warned!

Quality workmanship and completed home roof replacement within a few days. Overall cleanup of large debris was excellent, however there were some negatives to our experience. 1st, the roll off container for the debris still sits in my driveway, 6 days after the work was completed. Have called, daily, multiple times each day, to get an ETA of container removal, and only get the answering service, during office hours. They take a message and promise a return call, yet no responses from company as of this review. 2nd, workers left cigarette butts and food waste in my yard, for me to clean up. 3rd and, in my opinion, the unprofessional of all of it, is the small debris, especially screws, nails, sharp pieces of scrap metal scattered throughout my property. Unacceptable to return home, after work was completed and crew gone, to find all this debris. Would like to safely use my driveway, walk my property, and have my dogs run freely, without fear of injury, which already happened twice, during my personal cleanup of the debris. Workmanship, superior customer service, and accountability. They only came through on workmanship, which is what I recommend them for; be prepared for the hassle with the rest of it.

This company does half or full day engagements, where you can prioritize work goals and they will get as much done as they can in 8 hours for a flat rate. I used a full day to get some dead trees removed, underbrush cleared, and some other trees trimmed or removed as time permitted. Johnson and Son's came out at about 8:30 AM and by noon had the majority of my priority work complete. Altogether they cleared out a very overgrown (10+ year of neglect) back yard and removed every tree I was concerned about, as well as some other pines that I just didn't want to have anymore. I was happy to write the check and would definitely use these guys again for similar work. Price listed here is their full day rate as of the date of this writing.

Started promptly, worked full days, left yard clean -- roof looks good.

What can I say, they were excellent! Everything was done to specs and the result was beautiful. May be slightly more than others, but well worth it.

They arrived when they said they would. There was a project manager on site the entire time. They had the lowest price out of 4 quotes. Clean up was great. Overall very impressed.

Very professional, they explained everything, answered any questions we had and cleaned up after job was done.

It was great. They spent time with us to go over the options, gave us time and advised us how to prepare and finally did a wonderful job in a little over 2 days.

Prompt, courteous estimate. Estimates varied from $13,500 to $8,300. Went with Mac Johnson as we wanted to keep the cost down but have a good job too. They replaced rood down the street & seemed to have done an excellent job. Not disappointed with them on ours. They pulled all the permits, came promptly when they said they would. Completed basically in a day. Cleaned up well. Looks really good. Could not have been more pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The roofers were very thorough, and it appears that an excellent job was done.

Totally satisfied with everyone from office staff to the estimator and finally the crew that did the roof installation. I won't hesitate to recommend them to friends or family who need either roof repairs or a new roof.

Came to job prepared, had full crew and equipment to do the job. Were on schedule even worked in the rain. The workers were experienced. Did cleanup daily. Really had no issues. Would certainly use this contractor again.

As is the case with roofing in Florida, the project was delayed something around two weeks due to unfortunate weather. I suppose the project could have been scheduled to account for this but I don't consider it to be all that bad in the long run. Weather happens, I've got no beef with that.
Once they got started, progress was fast. They arrived early and got right to work with a crew of about 10. The crew broke for lunch but returned to work with full vigor. As is typical in FL, a downpour began at about 2:30pm. They sufficiently tarped the entire roof roof and opted to return the following day (the fourth of July.) The crew arrived 30 minutes early on the fourth of July and got right to work. The foreman walked around the roof with me and pointed out all the relevant bits of interest. I was impressed to find that they were also shimming/leveling all the perlins before attaching the metal. Day 2 went by quick and they were gone before noon.
Site cleanup was immaculate. I have not found a SINGLE piece of waste or debris in my yard-- whatsoever!
The finished product looks absolutely superb. I couldn't be more pleased.
I was also pleased to discover that they didn't try to nickle-and-dime me for any additional labor, carpentry, or anything else. My final bill was precisely in line with the estimate prepared for me.

They were very prompt and got the job done quickly. It was a very steep roof and they got it done in one day. They got the color I wanted and some roof drains.
They also said that they'd replace up to three pieces of rotting wood with no charge. This was still done the day they did the roof.
They put the edge on correctly and capped it. They're very detail oriented and their work is great.

The $$ was not 0.00- I am just not willing to write $$ down. However, it was within the different bids and we found it acceptable.
