This is the first time I've lived away from family members and needed to board my pups. From the first time I've used them, I knew Bark N Purr was the only place my fiancé and I would ever take our pups and now several of our friends board with them as well. They let us keep our two pups together- and even discounted their stay for using only the one kennel. And that hasn't changed as they've gotten bigger. Plus, we know the staff gives them individual attention and care because of the changes they've commented on in their personalities and behaviors from stay to stay as they've gotten older this last year. We also feel really good about Bark N Purr because the owners live on the property and so our boys get around the clock playtime and care. And if that wasn't enough, you CANNOT beat the price of their services:)

Bark and Purr is a great place.  The people are caring and good to the animals.  I hesitate to give them such a glowing review because it is already sometimes difficult to get a reservation they are so popular.  There is nothing negative I can say about them.  They are terrific!  They have given my animals medicine when theyneeded it. The facility is clean and homey feeling.  I have complete peace of mind when I leave my animals with Bark and Purr.

Our dog is very friendly. He has a quiet nature, but he is very happy. He immediately went with the owner to the kennel area. They fed him his normal routine of three times a day. They let him out 4 times a day. His kennel was clean, and we used our own bedding that we brought. Although our dog was excited to see us, he seemingly had a great time. In another state, a kennel experience ended with severe diarrhea for him from stress! This did not happen with this kennel. They said he was such a well behaved little guy! They did a great job on grooming and he smelled so good when we picked him up. We were very pleased. We live 45 minutes away, but the drive was worth it.

They keep the kennel immaculate. They are very caring towards the pets. A very nice place. Scott and Paul are very nice and pleasant. I take my two dogs there all the time. It is a reasonably priced kennel and they take very good care of my dogs.

Everything we contracted for appeared to have taken place. Dog was calm when I picked him up.

They are friendly, and they personalize their care. When your dog doesn't mind going back, you know that the dog likes it there. They are on the expensive side, but it is worth it. We felt very content and didn't worry about them while we were gone. They will do whatever you want for your dog.

I know when I leave my two cats and my dog with Bark and Purr, they are being well taken care of. I don't have to worry about my pets care or safety. They also performed grooming services that were excellent.

Grooming services were completed as we discussed when I dropped my dogs off. They were clipped just as I requested with their special "Yorkie Do's". The dogs were very relaxed and content with the staff and surroundings. I feel completely safe leaving my pups in their care.

We have check around the Port Orange Area for quality care for our dogs. Being members of the family, we wish that they will get attention and have comfortable surroundings while we are away on business or vacation. Bark and Purr has met that mark every time for over two years. Bark n' Purr is very convenient on the way to Orlando Airport (it is physically just off of Tomoka Farms Road north of the Cabbage Patch) with flexible hours (I think Mon to Sat 8am-6pm and Sunday by Scheduled Appt). The kennels are in a building next to the owner's home and either Paula, her husband, or son is often in there tending to the dogs/cats or grooming. The kennel facility and boarding rooms are impeccably clean and there is NO oder (always very fresh smelling). It is well let and spacious with all materials organized for each canine guest. What hooked us was the large fenced grass yard in the country that our dogs can run around supervised during the day. Another benefit was that there is a limited number of kennel spaces unlike other places so there is no question of just how much attention Moby and Boo get. (Note: Because of # of spaces, book early on holiday periods or you will be out of luck) Our dogs know when we turn on Langford Road where we are going and they get very excited. Again, we are very happy with Paula and her family taking care of ours. Our first visit was an unscheduled stop-in and tour of the facilities-- I suggest the same and you will be hooked and relieved to have found a home away from home.
