I received Chris Mercier's information from my neighbor and had him come out for an estimate on removing a large water oak from the back yard that fell from the preserve crushing my fence into the back yard, completely remove a medium (two story tall) live oak from the front yard, a large 22in diameter branch going over my child's playground from another water oak, and clearing/pruning other medium size branches from two massive live oaks over my lanai. When he told me $675 for everything, my jaw dropped b/c of the estimates I received from other tree people who were going to do less for more money. I knew he didn't want to play the estimate battle game and asked when he can start. He showed up the next morning bright and early with his two hard working sons. The entire job took from about 8am to 5pm and I couldn't be more pleased. Because of his competitive pricing, stellar service & professionalism I asked what else he does. In doing so I found out his son does screening. Once again the price was unbeatable so his son showed up the following day to replace 4 screens and clean all the algae with bleach & pressure washer for $50 (plus a $20 tip so $70 total). The lanai and backyard looks gorgeous now. I found out Chris used to build houses for HUD so I will be writing more reviews on him and his team for the bathroom tiling & wood flooring projects I will have him and his team do in the future. I highly recommend Chris & his Team.
