Suncoast Docks

Jim from Suncoast came over and looked at the work that needed to be done to accommodate a new purchase.  He told us that he could get it done this week.  He came over on a Tues to measure, came back on Wed to measure again.  Called on Thursday to say he would come for sure on Friday. When I called on Friday, he told me that he was in the pool cooling off an he should not have taken the job because the other job he was on took priority.
Since we were waiting for him to move the dock to get other work done and have our purchase delivered, it set us back a full 2 weeks.  Had he told us that he could not do it, we would have worked on getting some else sooner.

Someone damaged my neighbors dock when they accidentally slightly hit their dock when testing a boat for purchase. I purchased the materials for less than $20.00 to have it repaired. The person I had lined up was unable to perform the job so the neighbor asked me if he could hire someone to do the job. I agreed and the neighbor hired James Santos of Suncoast Docks. This company gave me a bill for $300.00 to install ONE HANGER BRACKET. I know the materials were only less than $20.00 since I purchased them already so his labor for this job that took less than an hour was $280.00. I looked his company up and in my search it said he was licensed. I searched license and he is not licensed and his company is not even listed with a correct phone number, The number I was given was not his number. His home number is not even listed. He web site was shut down by GO DADDY for non payment. This man and his company Suncoast Docks is a fraud and takes advantage of our small community
