Sean Cole Inc's owner Tim Martin quoted the job to paint kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom for $1100. Walls and trim were in good shape, just needed basic prep and nail holes filled. Started job on a Thurs and estimated it would take 2-3 days. After day 1, I noticed he was not prepping the walls, only painting over holes and dings which looked very bad and I asked him about this in which he replied he would fix before the 2nd coat. Evem after 2nd coat, holes and multiple bad spots still visible so I posted stickey notes all over house where touch ups were needed, approx. 50 spots. Day 4 and still working to finish bedroom which was the hardest room. He finally started hitting the touch up spots but the trim was now marked up with new paint and I brought this to his attention in which he said the trim wasnt part of his original quote - but it was FINE before his sloppy work messed it up. Day 5 and he was finally "done", but many spots still let that were scuffed, dinged, not covered, etc. Not to mention the many spots of paint on carpet, trim, tile, counters, etc. The bathroom actually needed an extra coat of paint due to the terrible coverage provided by the first coat. He said he would return the next wk to touch up, but requested final pmt now. I trusted him and paid thinking he would honor his word. NOT SMART of me. He never touched up even after repeated requests by phone, some of which he said he would call me back to schedule but never did. I finally gave up and touched up the spots myself, recoated the bathroom, scraped paint off tile and counters, fixed trim - but I am still left with green paint on my bedroom carpet.

Moral of story - good price but terrible work quality and responsiveness. If you are ok with finishing the job yourself, then go right ahead...

GARY RETURNED CALLS PROMPTLY. WAS ON TIME FOR ESTIMATE AND ON DAYS PERFORMED WORK. REASONABLY PRICED COMPARED TO ANOTHER QUOTE. HE INSTALLED VINYL LANAI CEILING OVER PLASTERED CEILING. THEY WERE NEAT AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.
