Pasco D&W was professional from start to finish. They were polite, efficient, always on time, quick to finish the job, and clean. It was the second time in 15 years I used them. The first was for hurricane shutters, which are still in great shape ( and I am directly on the water) and most recently high impact sliders. I thank them for being a reliable go to.

Deceptive and incompetent does not even come close to covering how bad Pasco Window and Door is. Do not use this company. 4 of 5 windows/doors we got from them had to be repaired or replaced ¦a job that still is not completed after a year and a half. That is all you really need to know but I included some of the details for people who want to know more. Thank God we did not pay them before the job was finished. They wanted to be paid before the job was complete because they knew the products they installed had to be repaired or replaced. They figured we would pay and then have to chase them to get the work done. Their reasoning for putting in bad doors and windows? They do not inspect the products they purchase and install because it is too hard. Of course they do not mention this up front or put it in the contract. IMO, Absolutely nothing Pasco Window and Doors says - Andrea specifically - can be trusted, neither can their contract. Pasco Window and Door contracts to manufacture and install top quality products. Having to repair or replace 4 out of 5 products is not Ă¢ top quality to anyone except Pasco Window and Door. Even though they knew the products were bad when they installed them they claimed it was a warranty issue. Because they claim it is a Ă¢ warranty issue you have to deal directly with manufacturer. Of course PWD does not disclose any of this up front and it is not mentioned anywhere in the contract. Would you sign a contract that says they do not inspect the windows and they are not responsible for pre existing defects? Neither would I. It is a disgusting business practice, but after dealing with Andrea, I would expect nothing less. Had we spoken to her first we never would have contracted with them. There are a lot of good decent people to work with, Pasco Window and Door is not one of them. I am sure Andrea will write a ridiculous unhinged reply that lists a series of either lies or half truths, and makes excuses for why she failed to abide by the contract. She will blame us. Claim we were satisfied, call us names, claim the review is vindictive etc. That is what she does with every negative review she receives. It speaks volumes as to her unprofessionalism and inability to work with people. As an aside, Thank God the window manufacturer is an honest company with competent people. You can trust them, but not Pasco Window and Door.
Response from

"I Trust Wise People Have the Ability to See Beyond Evil. I will clearly show the truth & state the documentation that I have to prove it. This customer began posting negative reviews under the FALSE name of ?Ron? hours after PWD took action by filing a property lien for their non-payment of their nearly $13k balance owed to us. Yes, I got screen shots of the ?Ron? (fake account) review as proof before it was removed. And he is calling me deceptive? I have been nothing but kind & professional to this customer who I?ve NEVER even spoke to. At his request, we communicated through e-mail. PWD & PGT have gone above & beyond for this customer. This is the ONLY customer we have EVER had that PWD had to request PGT managers make a personal visit to their home & PGT did! PGT clarified these issues were, in fact, manufacturer defects from when the products were made and agreed to fully take care of them. One window panel & one sliding glass door panel had a scratch. There were a few minor flaws on frames, which PGT repaired. Customer self-admitted it to us and to PGT reps that it may have been her ?OCD? condition pointing out extremely minor things. At this point the customer is waiting on one replacement piece of glass from PGT (the manufacturer) due to a scratch, as it is fully covered under warranty. Here is a great example of a similar situation: you purchase a refrigerator from Best Buy, they order, deliver & install it and you must PAY FOR IT. Then you realize that the ice-maker does not work. The MANUFACTURER WARRANTY handles & replaces that part. The difference here is that this customer has not paid for his products or the installation that PWD provided. We even requested part of the nearly $13k owed and got nothing. PWD?s job is COMPLETE. We completed our job and it passed county inspection (county permit record proves that). Three weeks ago, this customer e-mailed me, demanding we, Pasco Window & Door, install more (PGT) windows for him (have the e-mail to prove it). We refused due to his non-payment of his 1st project. So we are such a terrible company that does such terrible work with inferior products (as he stated elsewhere), but he demanded we do more.. hmmm? PWD addressed all issues this customer had. During our last visit this customer told our guys what a great job we did (very contradicting to this review). We are a long-standing, family owned, honest company who installs about 2,000 windows per year. We are very proud of our reputation and the amazing job that our installers do. Attempting to damage a small, local business with lies and not paying them are the actions of a bully & demonstrates ones character."

When the salesman came out for our initial meeting, he said that our air conditioning would run less, I was sceptical but since the install, it is amazing how many times I walk out to the garage and the a.c. unit is not running! CanĂ¢ t wait for the next electric bill. I also cannot day enough about the installation crew, great bunch of guts, polite and professional!

Everyone was friendly and professional. There was not a lot of mess considering we replaced all of the windows in the house. We immediately noticed how quiet the house is now, hardly hear outside noise. Haven't received an electric bill yet to know if there will be a savings. The windows have a nice appearance and even make the house look newer.

If you are looking for prompt service keep looking, Pasco Window and Door is NOT the place you want to use. Shame on me, I have used them twice and both times it was waiting, wait, wait. April 2017 I called for hurricane shutters. I was told by the gentleman that came to my home prior to making the shutters someone would come again to verify his measurements. I appreciated that, gave him $2,685 deposit and waited. After a month I called for the status. I was not told it had to be a long wait for the person to verify the measurements then a few more months for them to actually be delivered. I did finally get my shutters in August 2017 and the men that delivered them installed and numbered them showed my husband and me how to install and take them down. December 2018 I called them to replace sashes on my master bedroom, spare bedroom, and bathroom windows plus order a sliding screen door exactly like the one on an existing door and repair rollers on a sliding glass door that they have repaired twice already. The guy that was sent took measurements, of the screen door, counted the sashes he had needed to fix the windows and skipped right over repairing the sliding glass door saying he had to do it when he came back. Whatever, I know from the previous two times I had them to my home to replace the rollers the entire door has to come off and this young man did not seem interested in doing that. I gave him $205 deposit and waited a month. Knowing from the hurricane shutter hurry up and wait motto they have I called them for a status update and I was told what day they could bring the screen door and fix the window sashes. The same person that measured my existing screen door is the person that came to install the new screen door he had measured for and replace the sashes. Fortunately since he did not want to deal with fixing the sliding glass door in December you had to slam it to open or shut and it miraculously repaired itself,( perhaps a pebble or debris was in a roller and I knocked it loose but I did not need him to do anything to it on this day.) The guy supposedly replaced the window sashes and installed the new sliding screen door. He proceeded to refigure my total due less the $205 I gave him in December and replacing the rollers on the sliding glass door. I was just about to pay him when it dawned on me this is the same guy that did not want to replace the rollers on the sliding glass door in December perhaps I should make sure the screen door is okay. Thank goodness I did! First red flag, he had locked the sliding glass door (I thought that was odd) I unlocked it and tried to open the new sliding screen door. He locked it as well. Why? Because he did not have it on the track because it was not even close to being the correct size and I did not even see rollers on the door. He just sat it in between the tracks, locked it was going to take his payment and let me figure it out once he was long gone. I asked him if he owned a home

My installers, Rodney and Jimmy were wonderful. They treated my home like it was theirs. They were neat and clean. They made sure everything was perfect. I would recommend them to anyone. Several people have stopped and looked at the job and wanted to know who did it--the door isn't even painted yet.
