My husband and mother-n-law went there today and had a such a great experience and would recommend for anyone to go here. Dave was such a gentleman, kindhearted, friendly and trustworthy. He was very fair and knowledgeable, explaining about items. Thank you so much for such a great experience. He’s one in a million and a good man all around.

I emailed Jewelry Buyers International on 3/28/2016 seeking assistance with possibly selling a small coin/currency collection. I tried again 4/4/2016. So far, no return email or phone call. I found them on Angie's List and am very disappointed. Not replying is rude and unprofessional. I certainly do not recommend them.

We searched the internet for jewelry buyers and came upon great reviews for Jewelry Buyers Intl. About 3 months ago we had used a local jeweler who we felt did not give us a fair price and we did not want to go back. We called JBI first to confirm they were open and what types of items they would take. We made the 60 mile drive and were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. A receptionist greeted us upon our arrival and offered us bottled water. David introduced himself and gave us a brief history of his business. He immediately made us feel comfortable and went through each of our items. There was no pressure or intimidation to make us sell items at a cheap price like we had experienced at our local jeweler. David was very honest and took the time to review each item thoroughly - he even gave us an offer on some really small items that our other jeweler refused to even look at. Both my husband and I would highly recommend David to anyone wanting to sell gold or other precious metals - a very reputable and honest dealer!!!

David was very friendly and full of conversation. I brought in about 20+ pounds of silver coins that had been collected over 50 years by my father. David stacked the coins in easily countable stacks and made sure I agreed with the number of coins. When counting the coins such as Franklin Half dollars he checked the date on each coin to make sure there wasn't one with a special date or mint mark that would make it worth more than the silver it contained. After all my coins had been counted he totaled everything up and showed me what I'd be getting. When I agreed he paid me in cash which made me very happy! With such a big amount I thought for sure he'd write a check. The amount he paid was very fair. David wants a profit but a fair one. He doesn't take advantage. I have more coins and will be a repeat customer for David.

Used Angie's list to pick out a provider to sell our gold and silver to. Drove from Tampa to New Port Richey because of Dave's high ratings and he delivered! Delightful, knowledgeable and upfront about the gold and silver he sifted through. I had no clue about what to expect and Dave made the experience very enjoyable. Will definitely go back, as well as share with others. Still can't decide if I had more fun chatting with Dave or walking out with $$ in hand. Thanks to the previous reviewers who found this Gem!

Good appraiser. Very transparent on method, valuation. Very clear on stuff he would not buy. Wide knowledge: coins, watches, random jewelry. Would see again. Note: he works out of a hotel conference room, has worked out of this hotel for a decade. Seemed fair to me.

He was a very polite,professional,helpful, as I was selling him coins ,this time,to get money to go to Grandson's Graduation,my is and ONLY Grandson I have. well he came down to my car and carried up to his office, as I had to heavy bags of coins, but when looking thru ALL my bags of coins, he told me I had been taken by the Gallery I been buying from in Canton,Ohio!! David spent a lot of time sorting through the many items that I brought for sale. He took the time explain value and gave a fair price for the items he chose to buy. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to others.

This was my first time selling any jewelry in the Tampa area. I did some research and decided to visit 2 places. I first went to another reputable company who went through the pieces I had. He separated them by sterling silver, and the gold by 10k, 14k and 18k Other pieces he quickly looked at and told me they weren't worth anything. Total price offered was $734.00. I then visited David and he went through every piece of jewelry, including the pieces I was previously told were worthless. Some of those pieces were actually 14k and he found a total of almost $250 that the other person had told me were not worth anything. After careful examination of the jewelry I brought in, David gave me a price of $1,553.00, more than double what the other reputable company had offered. I have more jewelry that I will be bringing to David in the near future and will definitely be using him again. I highly recommend David. This was one of many visits to see David at Jewelry Buyers. Before first visit there I shopped the other like businesses in area and found that he was very knowledgeable and offered me the most money for my items. I will continue to use this business and have recommended many friends and family to this business as I know they will be treated fairly and with respect.

On different occasion I have exchanged silver, gold, and coins with David. I gone to other locations and David has the best offers so far. I recommend Jewelry Buyers International to any;one that wants cash today for there jewelry , silver flatware, gold etc. On the scale of 1-10 I give them a 10.

The Owner at JBI Dave was super nice and very professional. I brought in some jewelry to sell , I have known of his company for 7 years and have used his services only a few times. I have taken my jewelry to other places to see what they would give me in comparison to JBI and Dave has always been the person who gave me the most for my jewelry. I appreciate the knowledge he has about what he does for a living and I can feel trust that if I want to get a fair dollar for my items that he is the guy I would go to. I also appreciate that he does not waste my time and gives me an answer right away and does not cheat or lie, I feel that he tells me like it is and from the experience I have had with him I would not go anywhere else. Dave is the guy to go to if your looking to sell some valuable items, Dave has an office in New Port Richey and I go to his office to do business.

Thank God I found him! I had my grandmother's diamond ring that I inherited and a small amount of scrap gold. I had an overdue tax bill and needed to come up with $5000.00. I shopped every place from Tampa to New Port Richey. I had prices from over 40 places that all ranged from a few hundred dollars to $3500.00. David offered me $7700.00. I thought he was joking. I could not stop crying. This gave me everything I needed and enough to pay off some other debt. He was absolutely amazing; especially after I told him I was hoping to get $5000.00 out of my items, and he paid me $7700.00. I would recommend him to everyone and feel very qualified to do so, especially after ALL of the shopping and internet searching that I did.
