Overall, the experience was a nightmare. The technicians took a long time to finish the job and made a terrible mess in our home. I had to spend a bunch of money to clean our air conditioner and furniture, since they didn't cover anything during the job. All of our items were covered in dust. They tore up the bathroom, which cost me $125 to fix. This company promotes itself as being an upscale flooring company, but when you actually meet the guys that did the work, it's more of a Bobs Carpet Mart kind of business, which is the same company. The manager came out and observed what occured, including my pictures, and he ended up giving me a minute refund, which was only about 2% of the total job. They brought in all kinds of sub-contractors. The end result looks nice and it got done eventually, but it just costed a whole lot more than it should've and I had to spend a week cleaning afterwards. Also, do not give those people your credit card! Even though they say they only charge 50% upfront, then the remaining 50% once the job is completed, they charged me the full amount when the job started, which became a huge hassle. They justified that charge because they said usually their jobs only take a day. Overall, it was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor.

J & R Carpets always showed up when they said they would. I was surprised when they completed the job ahead of schedule. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.

Ordering was easy. The contractors sent to the job site did an execellent job laying the tile. J&R made good on defective tile in a timely manner. The repair installers were better than the original. The only complaint I have about J&R is that when I requested that they order T-molding for me, they hemmed and hawed and were not interested in supplying this particular material. I requested the T-molding about 2 weeks after making the original order and despite repeated requests J&R failed to procure the T-moldings. I realize that Home Depot and Lowes would have been cheaper, but was not interested in the hassle.
