Couldn't be more pleased!  Fred found the problem (a loose wire) within minutes.  He repaired and taped wires that had been left bare by the company who had repaired the thermostat last November.  He cleaned the sump filter (?) and showed my husband where it was, why it was important and, along with a second sump filter inside,  how to trouble-shoot these.  He was friendly, helpful, courteous and, joy-of- joys, charged us $40.  I mentioned to Mr. Glock that the last time I'd chosen a plumber on Angie's List (Rosenfelds) the receptionist failed to mention a 'trip' charge (of some $35 over and above the routine service call) and, when I complained that this hadn't been mentioned until the service man was in our home, refused to waive it.  Today's visit has insured that we've got ourselves an air-conditioning/heating guy we'll use in the future.  THANK YOU, Mr. Glock, for restoring our faith in repair/diagnostician folks!

My air conditioner was not cooling properly. We originally called someone else that came out on a Sunday and told us it would be about $300 and that it was the motor. He said he would back the next day. The good thing he did not show and that is when I called Fred Glock. Fred came out within 2 hours of my call. He was prompt and it took under 15 minutes from the time he diagnosed it as a capacitor NOT the motor to the time he replaced it and left. We are so glad we got Fred.
