We found them through a solicitation call on Thursday asking if we needed maintenance agreement. We had them come out asked for someone with experience his initials were B.S. came out with his daughter who he was training. She was doing the work and he was trying to sell us three things, he gave us info on rust, he was trying to sell us a new capacitor for $200, a system sanitizer for $210 or an UV light installed that would get rid of Mold and recirculate air for $1395 or an air scrubber for $1900 that NASA uses. The bottom line is we had a leak coming out of the air conditioner because of the drain pipe was stuffed up. The correct procedure would have been needed to be blown out. He never addressed the fact that the leak was coming from the ac, it was clear that the wood was soft and wrinkled, there was a clear path to the edge of the garage instead of blowing out the water drain pan he steered us in the direction of a water leak in our plumbing. I told him the unit was 10 years old to which he told us that our air conditioner didn't have a lot of life left. I asked him what was the point of buying a scrub system that he claims NASA uses for $1900, I'll just buy a new unit. He then he changed his story to say that these units are a good and last 12-14 years and had some life left. He never really addressed the issue with the air conditioner. I gave him a check for $48 and told him I would let him know about the contract. I called another company that does AC heating and plumbing and the man came out he was outside for approximately 1hr running tests and gages and emptying out the drain pan and showing us how much water was leaking into our drain pan blew it out. Topped off our Freon and the leak is gone. The second guy explained the whole system, showed us the floor wasn't level and was leaning from the ac to the garage . He did not try to sell us anything. I called Darron's and asked to speak with the serviceman. I told the receptionist that I had a problem with their serviceman and the job that he did. She told me that she couldn't call him right away, because he may be on a job. He did not call me back, so I called my bank and stopped payment on my check. I called again and the answering service had him call me back. I told him I had a problem with the service he provided and that I had stopped payment on the check and wanted to speak to the manager and that was the last time I spoke to anyone. Basically this was a solicitation.

They came out and replaced our old system. They are always very professional and we never have any real problems with them. They provide high quality work.
