The workers dropped screen into the pool which got caught up in the automatic vacuum system, clogged the lines and caused it to stop suctioning properly. They should have told us to turn off the filter while they were working, but they didn't. Over the space of 3-4 weeks, we were in and out of town and had the vacuum in for servicing twice. Finally the problem was diagnosed as debris in the line. We hired a pool plumber (not any plumber can work on pool lines) to clean out the line and he presented us with a large ball of screen scraps that was clogging the line. When my husband called Mr. Maier to discuss it, Mr. Maier denied all responsibility and said that if the problem had been the screen replacement, we would have called him sooner. He was very rude and caustic to my husband. Needless to say, we will never do business with him again. The screen work was sloppy too. I do not recommend his company.
Description of Work: Dan Maier and his employees re-screened our lanai, which included 2 doors and a little bit of cleaning of the frame.
