Creative Curbing

What a nightmare of an experience. From his subcontractors doing shotty work that had to be redone by three times and admitted by people on his own team. To him not coming back like he would and fixing the errors including them sealing pavers that had markings on them. Then he doesn’t show up for two months and then demands payment without finishing the job and then proceeds to Issue notice of potential in after we paid him just to make him go away. If I could give it the worst rating possible I would. People like this should not be in business.

Staff were professional and very courteous. Labor was intensive and they worked hard. However, one machine wasn’t working and they tried to repair it in the yard causing fuel to leak which resulted in killing 12” x 12” section of grass. Soil smells like fuel still. Then upon completion of the concrete forming machine they cleaned it out in the front yard. This left a section of 14”x14” of sand and cement mix that killed grass. Still trying to break up and take out to re-sod. Upon completion and looking over completed project again after they left I noticed some smooth areas that didn’t get imprinted with the design in the cement.

They arrived early and worked diligently to complete the job.  They cleaned up after the job.  My only complaint is that the I chose a dark brown.  I asked that they give me the darkest brown possible.  Once dried it was much lighter than expected.

The curbing installation went well and I mentioned that in my previous review. However, I called them 4 days later because I had 3 cracks in my curbing that was done by another person who added my landscape rock ( they were not related to Creative Curbing).
The problem is, I communicated with them by phone and email that I would like to get this repaired. I was told Bob Moore (owner) would call me back. It's been about 3 weeks now and no response. 
I must say again, they did nice work and these cracks were not the result of their doing. I would just like some follow up.

Excellent- they were on time, reviewed the work with me, and completed in a timely manner. Clean up was great and the yard looks amazing. This crew was excellent- professional, friendly, and performed quality work. I highly recommend!

excellent company -very detailed oriented.

The crew arrived on Memorial Day to start removing our old driveway and sidewalk.  We were surprised they worked on the holiday and glad the job was getting started.  They worked all day and had all of the concrete removed and the area cleaned up by sundown.
The next day the sand and pavers arrived and they were leveling out the area.  It took about three days for the new driveway sidewalk and porch to be paved.
The workers were professional and cleaned the area.  The job looked awesome but we did have one snag.
The porch pavers were thin and came from a different batch than the driveway and sidewalk.  My husband noticed immediately.
Robert was quick to respond and had the paver company send new pavers.  About a week later the new pavers came and they fixed the porch.
This was no fault of Robert's and he was very accomodating to get the problem solved.
I would use them again.

The workers were great.. polite and listened to my wish on how I wanted the curbing shaped. They made some suggestions based on past installs on how some areas should be shaped. The were careful in the areas that some things were close to the install. They neat and cleaned up the mess as  no one was ever there. Very satisfied with the overall product. Once completed walked with us to review all the curbing installed to be sure that we were satisfied with the finished product.  Able to pay via  Credit card with no extra  charge  with the office after completed.

I called Robert for a bid and sign the contract with him that day.  They preform the work a week later over the coarse of three days.  Everyone on his crew was very friendly and he was on site everyday too.

The original job went terrible & 2 attempts to correct the poor workmanship, (at an additional cost of $1095), went terrible. Although I asked the owner to be on site @ the beginning of the job & at the end of each job he chose NOT to appear on site for ANY of the work!! When the final coat of sealer was applied and it was still wet I left a message on the owner’s voice mail indicating how good the job looked. He sent his “Supervisor” to my house and I told him the same. UNFORTUNATELY, once the sealer dried my pavers once again looked VERY BAD. (Much like a badly scratched automobile looks good while wet.) I ended up hiring THE FLOOR EXPERT, a reputable company, to fix the substandard work performed by Creative Curbing. I now have over $3000 invested in the sealing my new pavers!!! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD DEALING WITH ANY COMPANY!!! Right from the start they didn't come out when they were supposed to. Then they didn't take away some rotten landscape timbers like they were supposed to. They weren't very good at returning phone calls. Eventually the owner did call me.

Company owner installed curbing and was paid at that time. After he left,I noticed some concrete benches disassembled and a concrete birdbath moved and not returned it to it's place. I noticed large amounts of loose/extra concrete laying in beds and colorant on patio next to new curbs(photo's attached). I called back and talked to wife who said they return to clean up extra concrete, seal curbs and will reassemble benches at that time. I had never been told of this step by husband/owner. I waited one week and he didn't return. I called a second time and he said he'd be out the upcoming week. He never showed. I waited another week and called a third time. He did come back to reassemble benches but did not seal curbs or clean up mess. He told me he'd be back in a couple weeks to do that. I stopped calling him to inquire about this and I have never heard from him again.
