We had a freezing issue on our AC, tried every user maintenance trick we could. Nick came same day when we called, and as usual, was professional, explained everything, and gave us tips to look for. This is twice we’ve had him here, and both were excellent. We’ll continue to use them for our HVAC needs! Thanks. PS: only charged the $65 service call fee.

I feel like I was taken advantage of. Tech came out and right away tried to sell me a new unit. Replaced 2 parts and flushed system for $887. A/C still did not work. I called Farrell A/C and Goose came out, showed him the invoice from CoolQuest and he said the parts were not needed. We changed the air filter and know it works fine.

It didn't go well. The tech couldn't find my AC unit which was in my garage. He just wanted to get out. My wife said he did not look like he wanted to do the work. In his defense, he did come back and apologize, but, that was after I left a Google review. My problem is mostly with the receptionist. I called to speak with someone and was completely disrespected. She even hung up on me stating we had a bad connection. The connection was fine. She was very rude and unprofessional. I am a new customer and I was appalled at the way she treated me. Lastly, when they received my unfavorable review on Google, they then proceeded to leave a bad review for my music company of which they never hired. They also claim they never did the work, so how could anyone leave a poor review?? Well Coolquest, I have news for you. Phone and people skills are part of running a business and that's where you fall short. The woman on the phone should be fired immediately!!! Hire better people on the frontline so they can handle customers professionally and with respect. I would pass these guys up and go to the next company. Just keep shopping! Again, if anyone from Coolquest should slander my business online or otherwise, I will not hesitate to take legal action. A company that places a bogus review should not be trusted with something as important as your air conditioning system.

Set an appointment and the day of was told it was canceled. I was told the AC was too old. When I tried to explain that we were willing to buy a whole new unit if need be, we just needed to know what exactly was wrong in the first place. I was told no it would be a waste of time and was then hung up on. Called back twice, tried to get a word in, but was hung up on both times. Very unprofessional way to do business.

I originally called Cool Quest to see about making a repair to the drain tube on my AC air handler, mounted in the attic above my kitchen. The repair technician came to my house and first explained that they did not do these type of repairs, but after a few minutes told me he could get it done at an inflated price. As I was somewhat desperate, and since the leak was causing much damage to my kitchen ceiling, I agreed. But I will not hire them again. Money was paid to Cool Quest, who, I assume, paid the company that actually made the repair. The entire repair only took less than thirty minutes to complete.

They came out and did the work but they never even pulled a permit to do the work. I had someone else come out and they could spot at least 15 issues with the installation from Coolquest. There is so much wrong that the company who came out can't even write out everything that is wrong. Now I have to contact the city to come out and look at everything. Since I've called back the guy is annoyed and has a horrible attitude about coming back to fix the bad work he did. He even wants more money to come back just to fix the damage he started. The inspector who came out even said that he would be afraid to live with the work this company did. The salesman just kept coming out trying to sell us everything he possibly could. Do not use this company.

I called them late last night around 10pm, expecting to leave a message, but to my surprise someone answered the phone, and said that they could send someone right over! They showed up just before 11pm, and did the repairs we needed. Everything turned out great!

High pressure to provide unnecessary improvements and DO IT NOW, or else this really good deal will pass you by!  Upon trying to negotiate a lower price, was told  "oh, just a minute, I will have to talk to my boss"-- came back and told us that he could do it for a little lower price but we'd have to sign up for it immediately!

Usually late for scheduled time of service. Tendency to "recommend" additional needed service and parts which of course  is not included in the maintenance contract.

"Hi (Member name removed), I just read your review and I believe you have the wrong company as you are not even in our system, unless you reside at another address. We do have one customer with the same last name. Please feel free to call me at 727-859-0500 to resolve this issue. Thanks, Carolyn"

These guys are bad news.
The "technician" showed up and began running some supposed tests on the ac. .
Started by replacing a few minor parts which did nothing. Then he hooked something up to the system
which caused it to make a weird noise. Guess what: "Aha!! you need a new compressor. And if you're lucky I can get
it replaced by tomorrow for $2700 IF we have a replacement unit. But Lemme check and keep your fingers crossed..bla..bla..bla."
Well would't t you know, luck was shining on us? He just happened to locate ONE unit in the warehouse and could fix us up tomorrow - but we had to act  NOW!!
What BS.  We didn't trust this tactic from the get-go and told this clown to hit the road.
So, he pulls his parts out of the unit - leaves wires disconnected hanging loose  and in total disarray, collects his service charge and takes off  for his next shake-down.
The next day I called Seneca and they had it back on-line in an hour for $150.
Avoid these guys at all costs. End of story.

Bobby D. came out within a few hours of my call to provide service for my functioning but leaking A/C unit.  The $64.99 charge for a service call would be fair if he actually did anything to justify the cost.
I suspected that the unit's drain line was completely clogged since the A/C was still functioning and cooling the house very well.
Bobby first went to the air handler and checked the coolant levels.  He said it was a couple of pounds low and then went to check the condenser (the source of the water leak). He opened the side of the unit and started citing a host of problems:  motor was freezing due to excess coolant, coils were "rusted", TCV (thermal control valve) needed replacing.
Here's the actual description of work from the invoice:"System icing up causing water to run out of the supply plenum"
For the repair he quoted approximately $4000 due to needing to replace the coils, valve, coolant and then immediately went into the sales pitch of how it would be better just to replace the unit for "only" $7500.00.
After he left, I went up to see for myself and confirmed that the drain line was clogged and the drain pan was over flowing.   I vacuumed the excess water from the bottom of the unit and flushed the drain line myself (messy but easy to do).  Very disappointed with Bobby and Coolquest.  Would NOT recommend at all.

When Cool Quest didn't come within the time frame they had said they would, I looked them up on Angies List, saw they had some bad reports, and cancelled the service call. Then I cross-referenced the online Goodman service provider list with Angies List to find another authorized Goodman repair company. The one I chose from Angies List was on my doorstep within a half hour and didn't charge me anything for the service call, for the coolant they added to get me going or for the coil replacements. Bottom line, Cool Quest was overcharging me for warrantied service. And they didn't show up on time.

Nothing good. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I'd freeze to death before I'd use them again.
