Description of Work: Paul has done work at a condo I used to own as well as my house. The condo had an old hvac system that finally quit running. Instead of replacing my whole system, he replaced a relay for minimal cost. Approximately 1 month later, the relay failed again. Paul came out on a Saturday morning and replaced the relay under warranty. He did not even charge a service fee. Paul also replaced an old HVAC system at my house. He is very professional, punctual, and left my house cleaner than when he started. He had a few small items that he needed to come back and finish. Paul was back out the next week and finished up the job as expected. I will call Castellos for ALL my HVAC needs in the future and recommend him to all my friends.

Description of Work: He fixed my neighbors air conditioner not mine. It was hot July attic work. Neighbor had limited funds due to layoff. Others had rejected the job. If I need work I will not hesitate to call Paul Castello air.

+ -1 moreIn May of 2014 I purchased a newly renovated house in Oldsmar, Florida. The contractor who did the renovations hired Paul Castello, of Castello?s Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, LLC, to install a new air conditioning system. The system was installed in March of 2014. In January of 2015 the air handler failed less than year after being installed. I called Paul Castello to make the repair under warrantee. He told me the defective part would be replaced at no charge because the manufacturer?s warrantee would cover the cost but I would have to pay him a service charge of $127.50 for the repair. When I asked him why the warrantee on the service charge wouldn?t cover the repair his response was that the warrantee was to the contractor who had done the renovations and did not transfer to the new owner.
