3 years ago I used this company to replace the fan in the condenser. I was so impressed with them that I kept the business card and when my air conditioner stopped completely in June I called C&S hoping that they would still be as prompt and professional as they were 3 years ago. And they were!  I can not say enough about how pleased I am with this company. The technician explained everything about the new system and thermostat I would be getting and gracelessly answered all my questions, never once did he show any sign of impatience. ;>}  They arrived promptly at 8 AM and had everything installed within hours. When he installed the thermostat he explained how to program it then asked me if I wanted him to program it for me. This is truly what customer service should be. After they left you would have never known that a complete system was replaced. Everything was put back in place and cleaned. I received my electric bill after the first month of full use of the air conditioning system and my bill was $65 less than the month before.  If you are looking for a company that is fair in price, professional and dependable you should call C&S.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a company.  Our air conditioner was broken in the middle of the summer and he was the 4th company that we called after getting a recommendation from a friend.  The first three ranged from wanting to sell us a $1000-$1500 part and not guaranteeing that would solve the problem to one of them saying that they couldn't work on it and that they could only give us a quote to replace our entire A/C system (that was going to be around $6000-$8000).  We finally got Mike's name and he came out right away (he was even willing to come out at 6am, so that I wouldn't have to be late to work).  He looked at the system and actually spent the time to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be that a lizard had gotten in the electronics and fried a wire--he replaced it and in less than 10-15 minutes we had working A/C.  He just charged us for a normal service charge and said that our unit was fine and we didn't need any expensive parts or to replace the unit.  We had given up and he knew that we were ready to pay for that, since we had been without A/C for several days and it was very refreshing to have someone so honest and helpful.
On a second occasion, he did the normal service and maintenance on the unit and cleaned out the drain line.  He was once again very professional and reasonable and did not try to upsell us.  He showed up on time and performed all the work that we requested.
I would highly recommend Mike to anyone who needs any work done on their air conditioning.

I was referred to C&S through my Home Warranty plan with Old Republic. I am ecstatic! My heat pump is approximately 14 years old and has never run properly since I bought the home a yaer and a half ago. I have had several companies out (including Angie's List Contractors with high ratings) to perform checks on my system and maintenance. After those visits the system still did not run properly and never really cooled or heated well, and had very little pressure coming from the vents, even though I mentioned the issues we were having and with the system tripping sometimes. C&S fixed all of it in one visit. My initial call was because after the recent cold snap when I had the heat on, as soon as we started warming up again, the system did not turn on at all, warm or cold, even the air handler wouldn't come on in fan mode. C&S was out the next morning after calling my home warranty company. Brent, the technician had the problem diagnosed within an hour and called to his office and found out the part was available so we didn't need a return visit to wait for parts to come in. He even called the office and had  Mike bring the part down to my home so the repair could be completed right away and I could still make it to work for a half day. These guys are AWESOME! Four other companies never diagnosed the problem which I've had for a while. All anyone else suggested was to replace the system for several thousand dollars. It needed a part was all. My system now blows harder, the air is cooler and warmer than it has ever been and I didn't need to replace my system. It bought me some time to save up for a new system but I don't have to suffer with a system that is running inefficiently, which means my electric bill is down too! Thank you C&S for providing honest fast work!! This is the company to call when you want it fixed, everyone else has been trying to just make money on us and not deal with the problem. When it is time for a new system I will call C&S becuase I feel I will get the truth and be treated fairly.

My AC was not working. I had called another HVAC company to check out the problem and they said that i needed a new system which would cost 4K. The system is only 8 years old so I wanted a second opinion and called CS AC Services and Brent came out and told me he could fix the capacitor and clean the coils and replace the thermostat for less than $500 and the system would work fine. I decided to go with Brent right then so he started the work and finished that evening. My AC is has been working fine s I'm glad I didnt pay the 4K for a new system that was not needed.
