Called this company as they had previously done the survey . Owner would not quote a price and asked me to email him. after he responded I was unable to set it up for following week as he only offered this week. Closing is a month away and I did not want it this week . He never gave me any alternates so I am going with another company. Too much grief setting it up maybe saved me from a headache later

This company performed a survey in late 2006 or early 2007 as a part of our home purchase. Apparently the survey was completed on a FEMA form that had expired. When this was called to the attention of the company, a revised survey was prepared but never signed. Now, we need a signed (sealed) survey as a part of changing insurance agents/companies. According to our insurance agent, all Mr. Gazell has to do is sign the current version of the form he completed (but didn't sign in 2007/2008) and fax it back to the insurance agent. Mr. Gazell is not only refusing to do this, but his attitude to me and to the insurance agent has been rude and unprofessional. At this point, since I need insurance, I am going to pay for another survey from another company. I would never use or recommend Benchmark Surveying again.
