Bartlett Roofing I can't say enough praise about.  They were always on time and came to my home on a Sunday to make sure an upcoming storm would not  damage the wood on a remodel.    Alan Bartlett is responsive and helps the customer without hesitation.  I would recommend over and over!!!

I had Allen look at my roof because I had 2 places of ceiling staining. Allen looked at my roof and said I needed my ridge vents replaced because they were not the right ones and were leaking in when it rained. I have since had 2 stains and the first time I had tech come out again he looked at my roof and said nothing was wrong. I called 3 weeks ago and was told by the receptionist (who is rude) that Allen would call me back. Allen never called back. I called today 06/02/2014 and was told I would receive a call today. I called later in the day and was told it would not be any time soon because they were on a big job. I hope that person looked at Angies list first. Buyer Beware

We have used BARTLETT BROS. since 2003. They repaired all our previous valleys and our flat roof over Florida Room as well. We were always pleased with service, punctuality, professionalism and quality.
After Tropical storm Debby in June 2012 we called BARTLETT BROS. and a foreman came out, gave estimate and told us they would 'Get going' on the Re-Roof and would be on job within the end of month. The building permit was pulled July 30, 2012.
We started calling in summer and left messages for the owner to please call us regarding job commencement. On one occasion in August we were told owner was in Orlando on business but would return our calls as soon as possible.

We ended up waiting over four months and I was really disappointed in BARTLETT for not only not returning our calls and messages left with office secretary/coordinator but not being honest about the 'back log' of roofs on their list. The Foreman should have been upfront about having to wait for months before commencement.

We were about to find another roofer in October of 12' when a foreman just out of the blue calls first week of October late in evening and says and quot;Yeah We will BE THERE TOMORROW.and quot; So, no returned calls for four months and all of a sudden, they are just going to show up tomorrow morning. No concern for owners schedule. After a short week of phone tag they came out and did job completely within their two day standard.

My only other problem was a high amount of roofing nails and debris left on site. The guy walking around with the magnet wasn't on his game at all. My foot found a roofing nail the second day right in plain site on front porch and I still have some painful scar tissue as a result. We are still finding roofing nails six months later, my wife just found another this week . I guess thats to be expected.

I am very happy with their work. We have used them before and will use them again. They do a wonderful job and are so good.

They came when they said they would. They did what they said they would do in a very professional manner with no surprises or incidents. Over all I was very pleased with the work and would use they again should I need to.

I am a single mother of 2 and a very limited amount of money. He gave me two quotes - one to replace the roof and one to patch the areas that are bad. He also worked with me to do this job immediately - water was damaging my ceilings. He was very prompt and professional - took pictures and made sure I understood what I was paying for.

The house had leak appear during Tropical Storm Debbie. It was not an emergency leak, but nonetheless it was something that needed to be addressed. I contacted multiple Roofing companies through Angie's list and as a result of them being so busy I received no calls back. I initially did not contact Bartlett's Roofing Services because it looked like they were too far away from my residence to perform the service. However, through the word of mouth of an acquaintance I was referred to Alan Bartlett. I checked out his company on Angie's List and found that he was reputable and I decided to contact the company for service. Alan (the owner) got in contact with me after I talked with his office manager within the next day. We set up an appointment which was convenient for me and it turned out that my residence was not too far away for his company to provide service. Alan personally came to evaluate the situation. He took the time to get up and close to the issue area and immediately spot the potential risk areas. Alan talked me through the proposed solution and I agreed. Alan came out at a different time with matching colors to the house for the products he used and addressed the risk areas. During the time in which he was not able to make it to the residence he kept me informed and did a great job of communicating the status. I will be sure to call him for all my roofing needs.

About a week later, after another rain storm, the roof leaked again. On Monday, July 9th, we called Bartlett Roofing and spoke to someone in the office who said that she would leave a message for Steve. After no return call, we called again later that week and left another message on voice mail. As of today, we still have not received a return call.
Apparently, Steve is taking advantage of the tropical storm-making quick money on and quot;repairsand quot; that do not last. Of course, I'm disappointed that this roofer is included in an Angie's List publication. In the future I will ask for a receipt and guarantee.

Here is an update as of 1/1/13: Since the last report, Steve stopped by to discuss the issue with owner Alan Bartlett. After apologizing for lack of communication and return phone calls, they attempted a more extensive repair (in August I believe) for $800.00. Leak was difficult to pinpoint and was still happening until recently. Steve returned many times at no charge to track and repair. I now give them an A for effort.

Steve called back and came by our house that evening. He found the problem area and came back to seal and re-shingle the area. Great job...and this repair has just endured Tropical Storm Debbie and 10 inches of rain!

The owner personality comes out and prices quotes for you. No complaints whats so ever. A little pricing some times but they definately get the work done fast usually in one day.

They were wonderful. Alan, the owner, called me himself and came out to look at the problem. We live in a 3-story house, and I had a problem even finding a service that would come out for a 3-story. They were very professional, responsive and reasonable.

repaired About an hour later the work was completed. Shingles were supposed to have been glued down. Asked for a roof condition document (another $50.00) for future sale.Never returned.A few months later my skylight was destroyed. Another roofer repaired the skylight and had to repair the same shingles. Will never use the company again if they are still in business. $275.00 for a shingle repair? A typical senior ripoff!

They did excellent work. They showed up when they said they were going to be here. They're very professional and their service is fast. They cleaned up everything. The roof is beautiful. They finished in one day.

They came and did a wonderful job. The roof was leaking between the house and the porch and they fixed it up great.

Bartlett's did the entire job without us ever meeting in person. Debbie was a pleasure to deal with. Their price was just slightly higher than a couple of other good quotes I received, but it included any additional plywood that may have turned out to be needed. Most others would have charged on a per sheet price after the first 2 sheets. I never did ask how many sheets were actually needed in total, but it was nice to not have to worry about that aspect of the job.

Bartlett's didn't require a downpayment before starting work. They took care of all the permitting and inspections and made sure the insurance company was in the loop so I'd get the proper discounts after installing the 130MPH rated roofing. They performed the work as scheduled, cleaned up after themselves, and did a very nice job overall. No complaints, and I highly recommend them..

They were good and terrific. They called back right away, we made an appointment and they were out there. I live in Jacksonville and the rental home is in another place so they worked with me with payments and everything because I wasn't able to be there.

While there was about a 2 week lag between estimate and the actual repair (this may have been due to the weather more than anything else) everything else regarding their service was top notch. They responded to my questions promptly and fixed the problem permanently.
