JUST ANOTHER RIP OFF HORRIBLE CONTRACTOR IN THIS AREA

This person sent another person in that did not have the experience to install the doors. First the doors were slightly damaged and covered up with caulk. The door jams were cut uneven so therefore one side was higher than the other and the gap was stuffed with caulk. The doors did not close properly. There were big gaps between the door and the door stops leaving the doors not closing tight and light coming through. One of the doors was warped and other doors the door stops were crooked. The trim was out on with nails that split the trim. Another door size was ordered wrong and the opening now has to be cut bigger so it fits. B**** will not exchange out.

Quality of doors were fair and price was better than a Home Depot. The install was horrible. The doors were installed crooked and do not close properly. The frame was cut to short and I was left with a big space where the frame meets the floor. B**** filled it with shims and it looks terrible. The trim around the closet doors was improperly placed and he then had to add quarter round to cover up his mistakes. Some of the doors had small damage and he also filled and covered up. He should have returned the doors. He convinced me to put a pocket door in the bathroom but them could not change out the current track of the old pocket door and it was not closing properly and scratching. I made him replace with a regular door like I wanted in the first place but he would not install without charging me more. The door jams in the door frame were so crooked that the door did not close tight and light shined through. The trim on the doors were not evenly placed and now I have this area where two of the doors are next to each other and one is higher than the other due to how the trim was installed. The cuts he made to install the doors were left rough with little pieces of wood sticking out. When I asked him to correct he said that if I had paid him to paint them he would have adjusted all the problems but since I did not pay him to paint he left them uneven and left them unable to close tight and he was not going to fix the door jam that he cut to short.He was rude and yelled at me when I asked him to fix. Now he said he will get to me in about a month since he was going away. I am still waiting for him to contact me to correct the issues. THE FLOOR WAS INSTALLED AT A PRICE I FOUND OUT WAS HIGHER THAN MOST BUT THE GUY HE HAD INSTALL DID A FABULOUS JOB EVEN THOUGHT I FOUND OUT HE PAID THAT GUY ABOUT $250.00 TO INSTALL ALL THE FLOORS. HE CHARGED ME $2000.00 for the install. The guy who did the install was FABULOUS and very very reasonable. He name is Jeff and his number is 727 505 6902 He is great with tile and wood. He is not a company he is just a worker.
