NAVARRE ANIMAL HOSPITAL

While on vacation I received a call saying storm,Michael, coming and I needed to come get my dog. Was in California. They were going to close so no one would be there. I didn't have anyone to get her so she would be left alone. Although their contract says this is a possibility, I missed it and had no choice anyway. It seems they should have had a planB as they agreed to keep her for the entire week!! Besides , if I had someone else to care for her why would I pay them $20/day to do it? I'm changing vets and my dog will never stay there again!!!!

Awesome. Dr. Gina is phenomenal. The staff here is beyond amazing, kind, knowledgeable, sweet and great with your pets. They treat you and your animals like family. We use them for all of our vet needs.

I think they are already on Angie's list.  They are excellent.  My experience with them went great.

When I first walked in there were 4 ladies behind the counter and a tech on the other counter.  There was a lady checking out at the side window with the tech.   I would have understood if the lady needed help with her dog.  But she was carrying her own dog, apparently she handled.  She had a few questions, nothing one person could not help her behind the counter, not all 4.  (Approximately 7 minutes)  When they were finished, the one lady behind the counter turned and asked if she could help me.  I explained that I was new to the area and was looking for a new vet.  I inquired about their prices and those were average.  I inquired about the boarding rules and prices, those were average.  I asked to set my dogs up in their system and schedule an appointment for them to be boarded.  She said that they would need to be seen by the vet first before they could be boarded.  I explained that I had a copy of their records, and that they had been boarded a couple of months ago at a vet in the next town over.  I even said they could call the vet and request for any other information faxed over, it was not long distance.  She said that it did not matter, they have to be seen by their vet.  I asked how much would this cost, I was told this would cost $45 per dog.  I asked "All he is going to do is look at them?" .  She said yes. 
A hundred dollars for a vet to look at them and say "Yes, they can be boarded."  Are they that hard up for money? 
I then drove two blocks and view another vet.  They accepted the records and they are scheduled for boarding, and the scheduling was done for free, image that.
I don't know about you, but I don't just give my hard earned money away, just because someone has a degree.  When your dogs have just visited another vet and they current on all their shots, including bordello.  What makes this vet so special, that he is better than the vet down the street.  (20miles away)
I would never use this vet.

They were very professional in all aspects of this visit and took time to talk with me about my pet.

I will use them again in the future.
