+ -1 moreNightmare experience with D & D Demolition & Junk Removal. After quoting me a total cost of $4800-$6000 for the demolition and removal of a hurricane damaged mobile home, I ended up paying $7200 and they were looking for an additional $2400 and the project remained far from completed. I dealt with Dario and Dulce Perez and they strung me along making excuses as to the cost overruns. Ultimately they tried to tell me they were a ‘Christian company’ and would therefore reduce the rate I was paying moving forward. They did not have the appropriate equipment to take on such a project as the mobile home was being taken apart by two workers using handheld tools. Additionally, Dario told me he was charging me per ‘mobile dumpster’ load. This dumpster turned out to be a box truck. My property is in shambles and I now have to hire a company to clean up the mess. Dulce Perez refused to refund even a portion of the money I paid for a job they did not complete.
Description of Work: They are preying on people who have lost homes due to Hurricane Ian. I foolishly did not get a quote in writing and continued paying above and beyond the estimate because I was assured it would just be one more day of work and the job would be done. These are scammers and I am disappointed that Angi shared my contact information with them. It speaks very poorly of the quality of service that can be expected of companies found through this site. I wish I could post a picture showing the state of my property after paying them $7200 and this company claiming to have done $9600 worth of work. Standard rate for demo of a single wide is $5800-6000
