Home building was rushed leading to poor drywall quality. Way too expensive, no yard, but for $40,000 extra you could have a yard...it did not settle well with us.

Went great.  Sales guy was nice and knowledgeable, we were looking between two different Weiss communities.  He helped us select the right one for us. We were there to select the site, select the home model we wanted. The Design Center is fantastic.  Our home was built in 3 months, as promised.  No extra costs or hidden fees or anything we didn't know about.  Every inspection was done as detailed in our contract. It's been 2-1/2 years since we moved in and no problems or anything.  No quality issues.  Very easy process.

Sales rep we had, Gregg Miller, lost his cool with us several times when we had questions. They did not follow the written contract for insulation and some other items. When the company would not make good, we stopped paying and they filed a lien on the property for work they had not done. We had to go to court to fight as our land and half built house were at stake. We eventually won breach of contract and FRAUD against this company, but our $100,000+ in legal fees were never recouped. It took 18 months since they ceased construction until the trial. During that time Rita Weiss sent 20 letters insulting our Christian faith and never mentioned the house! The owners, David and Rita Weiss, VP of Operations, Brian Miller, and VP of Sales, Kym Baker, were all a part of our nightmare experience.
