The work done that was done was inferior, not professional, not complete or done in a timely manner . Dan Santos Owner/workers behavior was inappropriate, argumentative and threating.
I hired Dan to fix, paint and do repairs on my new home. He was given the inspection. He then told me that he was subcontracting to a/c. roof, window and floor instillation to Angie.
The A/C was not repaired, the windows were not done per bid, and the floor instillation was not completed. What was done on the floors were substandard and per Dan Santos, terrible. Yet I hired him to do the job.
Dan owner/operator of: Unlimited Home Maintenance Service was nice at first and then became inappropriate and intimidating. He bought the paint as discussed and then charged items that he said he would provide.
I gave him a punch list and he carried on so that I did not feel I could talk to him. He did not complete the work but yelled about me having to pay him. His invoices were for $1750, I gave him $2075n for his work that is terrible. He did not finish the garage floor, the doors have drips and you can see paint stocks on some of them. He took of the door knobs and when the pieces were missing he screamed at me and told me I threw them out. He refused to touch up or put the shelves back in and threatened to rip out a window shelf he put in stating that I did not pay him. I have him $300 more than invoiced. In addition, I gave his subcontractor $1000 for the floors, for a total of $3075. I gave him 4 weeks to finish the job and had to move in. I told him Dan had to leave and to send back one of his workers to complete the job. He became verbally abusive and threw a putty knife at me.
He and his wife Tammy Santos co-owner ref complete the work. They became abusive and involved the family member who referred them. Thus, making it a personal issue. This was a business transaction and not a personal relationship. I had other workers to do what he did not. I paid another $1100 and can not afford to redo the painting or repairs on the floors.
