UNIVERSAL TRANSMISSIONS

Horrible, Marty promised one thing and delivered another. The price was also way over priced. I was quoted a week and he had my truck for a month. Not only did I not get the job done I didn't get the job done that I wanted. For $2,700 I should have had a completely new transmission installed. This hack took the liberty of rebuilding one of his old transmissions lying on his floor. He promised me a week he had a month.and it caused other issues with other appointments. He called me belligerent cussing me out. he was mad because he hadn't met his one week late already timeline. when I made the deposit he asked for a 50% he took more than 50% as well. I didn't authorize that he just took initiative. if I could say one thing to you is stay away this guy is a horrible individual to deal with. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable overpriced and horrible service. Stay away you have been warned good luck!

Brought my pickup in for repair on a Monday after having transmission slipping a few gears met with Brian who diagnosed problem was given a quote on cost of repairs and told vehicle could be repaired by Thursday l agreed and had them perform the repairs. Received call Thursday morning that transmission was repaired and I can pick up my vehicle.when I arrived

The owner hooked up a box to the computer in the car and re-set something that corrected the problem. He spent about 20-30 minutes doing this and when I asked him what I owed him he said nothing. He did say that the problem should be OK but if it did re-cur I would need to have the transmission repaired. If it does come to that I will most certainly return to him.

They recommended AutoWorks. They offer to deliver it to AutoWorks (It is just down the street) So, I agreed.
The Problem WAS Electrical and AutoWorks fixed it the next day after a new Alternator arrived.
After I got back my Jetta, I visited Universal to pay for their evaluation and delivery to AutoWorks.
I thanked the OWNER for sending me to Autowork and asked how much I owed for his service. He said THEY didn't fix anything so I did not owe anything. He said come back when I have a transmission problem.
Believe me, I will.
