Had a damaged tire that could not be repaired. I was serviced quite quickly for a walk in. After the tire was replaced, I was told that I should replace another tire that was worn to the replacement point of 4/32nds. Since I own a tread gauge and always keep an eye on the condition of my tires, I knew that this was not accurate. I asked to be shown and then was told it was just the outer edge of the tire that was worn. I could see that this was due to under inflation, the rest of the tread was healthy.
I did not replace the tire. As with so many tire chains, they had to push for additional sales that were not needed. Immediate sales are more important than a long term customer relationship. Too bad. Now I will not go back there or recommend them.
Many people would have just taken their word and replaced the tire. I will keep looking for a straightforward dealer.
