"Original system was installed in 2004. During a maintenance service we found an evaporator coil leak in his Trane air conditioning system. This leak was in a factory component and the system was out of warranty so we gave the customer an option to repair the system and an option to replace the system since the system was 9+ years old. [member name removed] elected to replace the system in January of 2013. Upon completion of the replacement of the air conditioning system we advised [member name removed] that his existing duct system was undersized and the system would perform more efficiently if the ducts could be modified. Our original replacement proposal was very clear that the pricing included connecting the new air conditioning system to [member name removed] existing ductwork and that we would advise him after the installation of any modifications that may be necessary as he originally wanted to minimize the installation cost. In December 2013 [member name removed] agreed that the duct system modifications were not part of the original proposal (several phone calls were required over the course of a few months for all to agree that this extra work was not part of the original installation). In December 2013 we gave [member name removed] a proposal to modify his duct system and he signed the proposal and we did the work in January 2014. In order to help [member name removed] (at his request) we agreed for him to pay the invoiced amount in 3 equal monthly payments (without any interest). [member name removed]made the payments on time as he agreed to and his system was working perfectly at that time. Since March 29, 2014 when we received his final payment we have not had any complaints from [member name removed], any warranty calls or any calls for service. We are not sure why now after almost 2 years is [member name removed] submitting a review which gives us an F rating. The facts show that we did everything we agreed to and more to make sure that [member name removed] air conditioning system would operate properly and perform efficiently over its expected lifetime. [member name removed] is welcome to come to our office to review all the documentation we have which confirms the details contained in this response."
