Who would plan a construction project while recovering from surgery? Well...it happened to me. Heavens...should I postpone the project? After all, I was now non-weight bearing and couldn't even consider getting down to the dock to see how things were going.
Sometimes you just got to go with your "gut". After meeting with Scott two times previously to plan the job, I had a very strong feeling he was the kind of guy that was going to give his best, whether I was there or not. He didn't let me down for a second.
Scott and his team meticulously removed the old dock, drove new pilings, ran new stringers and topped it all off with PVC decking.
Alignment was "on the mark" and not a fastener to be seen. Just beautiful! I loved the color scheme of the tan decking and dark brown wrapping on the up posts.
We were all sitting out on the dock at Thanksgiving, and my son looked up and said "Mom, what contractor even snaps a line around a post to be sure all his nails are perfectly straight"? Hmmm....my son....Scott does.
