Marvin worked in conjunction with another painting company. He did the faux painting in one of the rooms in our home. He was able to reproduce the original finish and actually improved on it. The work was very clean and it looks outstanding.

Marvin is an artist in the true sense of the word. We contacted two of the painters on Angie's List to refinish these doors and they were unable to provide what we needed. One of the painters, however, put us in touch with Marvin. He, not only is knowledgeable about the finishes and how they interact, he was polished, professional and always there when expected. Marvin has the artist eye and is not happy until you are happy. Not only does he do faux finishes, but murals, furniture work, oil painting and Trompe L'Oeil as well. The patina on these metal doors is simply incredible. And his art portfolio is quite impressive as well.
Description of Work: Faux painted / refinished metal entry doors to achieve appearance of real wood. The doors were in desperate need of repair. Outside was blistering and peeling and inside had a white haze.

Thank you for such an amazing review! This was the very first project we completed as an Angie's list referral. There is certainly a reason the first two painters were unable to provide clients needs, it was a job that required more than just a painter, this project was a case that we deal with quite often here in Southwest Florida, especially when close to the salt water, thus causing heavily damaged areas from sub-tropic weather. Rouse has completed many successful restoration for over 15 years in Naples, Marco Island, Bonita, Estero.
