Technician replaced capacitor in outside AC unit . Then charged me $235 for the new capacitor. i looked online for similar spec capacitors found at least a dozen priced $10 to $20 I talked to service manager he told me $235 was in line with industry standards .we will no longer recommend or do business with this ac company

After failing to come to a resolution for an issue with my AC handler unit that Pure Air installed and maintained, the owner cancelled my service agreement with them and refused in writing to return two years prepaid maintenance agreement payment out of spite. This is not a company that cares about customers or has any business ethics. I would never use nor recommend them to anyone.

Technician (Gus Lanfranchi) replaced capacitor within 15 minutes. In his notes he mentioned AC unit looked new and home office should check warranty on parts. Pure Air charged me $235 for a new capacitor. I found 8-10 capacitors of the same specifications on the internet ranging from $10-20. I called and talked to the manager, Roger Gatenby. He said it wasn't worth the time to do the paperwork involved in getting a refund for the capacitor from the manufacturer. I think he was reticent to claim $235 for a $10-20 part from the manufacturer. I will no longer do business with this company.

Excellent work. Got a call less than 30 min after I requested a quote. Technician showed up a few hours later - super fast. Good, efficient, and clean work. Would have been perfect if he had worn a mask - I did :). Definitely considering them for an annual service contract.

Replaced my HVAC system at my Fort Myers home at a cost of over $6000. Replaced the system in April 2019. In early July 2019 the pan which the unit sits on was overflowing with water. They “Cleaned out pthe condensation line and reset the overflow safety shut off regular which did not work and was installed incorrectly. Here we are in September and the pan is full of water and the shut off valve again didn’t work. They apologized again and are sending a maintenance person who is late to fix the issue. Never had this issue with the prior unit..I would not buy anything from pure air and in fact I am returning to my former HVAC company for ongoing maintenance.

My experience with Michael Elkins, Sales Manager, was very informative, positive and convinced me to hire Pure Air over competitors' proposals. He arranged for financing and an install date without undo delay The installers arrived at the designated time and removed the existing system replacing it with the Trane system in about four hours. They were very professional, polite and cleaned up all debris outside and inside, tested the system and instructed on the new digital thermostat. Within a couple of days I noticed there was water in the lower drip pan which was very unusual. I called Pure Air Service and a technician was dispatched right a way. He could not identify what the cause was stating the it was very unusual suggesting that if it continued to call. It continued and another service tech arrived and thought it might be caused by condensation on the interior coil which was not draining. He applied some insulation in areas that he felt were causing the problem. Subsequently another Tech was sent a day or two later to apply additional insulation. The condition continued and I was directed to speak with the Service Manager Roger who was very sympathetic to what I was experiencing and said that they would do whatever it took to correct the condition. He recommended a replacement coil and drip pan which he ordered. Tech Hunter Blake arrived prepared to replace the coil and pan stating that he believed any replacement would only duplicate parts that already existed and had doubts that it would correct the condition. However he proceeded to prepare the unit for the new coil and in doing so discovered the drain connection was not fitted properly during the original install. Hunter explained that the fitting was loose and showed me where moisture had collected around the opening. He replaced the fitting with a better one and securely tightened it. That seems to have solved the problem. In summary the original install while satisfactory had one loose connection that three prior service calls could not find until Hunter Blake thankfully discovered it in the process of replacing the coil. While this matter was very frustrating, I commend the response I received and attention to the problem that the service department provided and the sincere attempts at addressing it without delay. It is comforting to know that Pure Air is ready and able to respond to any issue with the AC unit in a prompt and professional manner. The system appears to be operating now as expected. Of course there was no charge for any of these calls since the system is under warranty.

Aweful. The coils were never cleaned. This is a five year old unit that I hav3 had to replace the pan that was cracked during installation and a new motor two or three years after owner. Now I need a new drain pipe which I was quoted almost 900 dollars for. “Mike” the owner said you think I am government subsidized I can’t help you. How about offering a payment p,an mike the owner. I paid 5000 $ for the unit and 900 for a motor and three hundred for a new pan so mike the owner how about working with your customers. He hung up on me twice and could not believe the way he was acting was the owner. One of his maintenance workers pulled the drain up outside and ever since then I have had problems. He canceled my maintenance agreement and is charging me for any work he has done under the agreement. Cost if servic3 over the years 7700$

Pure Air installed a new air conditioner in early 2016 and maintained the system for 2 years. Our pan overflowed in October 2018, the system was designed to give a warning and shut down. This did not happen~~causing major water damage. After a supervisor came to the house we were told the system had not been set up correctly. A mold mediator was called due to the damage, discovered that the ducting had been improperly installed. There was ducting that had not been connected, laying over beams in the attic, with no saddles leaving the ducting laying on the insulation. Previous air conditioners were left in the attic. HVAC Engineer report was done to find damage and necessary repair. The cost to replace and properly duct the home was over $9500. This was not covered by insurance and Pure Air will not handle payment. Damage and Temporary housing for mold and water damage is now over $100,000.00. After Pure Air's initial visit for the pan, no phone calls would be returned. Warning~ Warning I am willing to provide the HVAC Engineer Report with pictures.

Everything went exceptional with replacement. Problem is with warranty inspection. Set up visit with 2 hour window. They notified me 2 hours after window to say running late. I had already called office and they gave me runaround. Scheduled second visit with guaranteed 1 hour window. Called after window and they again gave me runaround. Still have not heard and nearing 2nd hour I would recommend them for equipment, installation and price but follow up service sucks. Office staff only offered excuses and no apology. If you want entire package find another company.

Wonderful experience working with PureAir Conditioning and Michael Elkins. We replaced our old dog of an AC system with a new Trane system and the Pure Air team also replaced all our duct work at the same time. Very responsive and customer focused. I would recommend Pure Air Conditioning to anyone.

Very well. In fact perfect. Mike came did a walk through as to what had to be done. Gave us an immediate quote and also various options and cost. When advised we were going to use his company they scheduled date and time for installation the crew arrived on time. They were professional in every way from appearance to installation to clean up when finished. Mike called to see how they did and also came over to check on installation and made sure everything met our satisfaction. Very much impressed with whole company and the staff for all their assistance through the process Would recommend them in a heartbeat

Pure Air did a great job from start to finish. I was extremely pleased with their service and everyone in their organization. I called for service on a Friday morning and within a few hours they sent out a serviceman who was very knowledgeable and explained my problem and options. I received a quote over the weekend, from the Owner, and a new system was installed on Monday/Tuesday and I was up an running. Pure Air is definitely a customer driven company and the entire experience was painless. Their installation team was very courteous and they left the premises spotless. I have had property in Naples for 39 years and highly recommend them for any HVAC service. They have certainly earned my business going forward.
