Left an email message for Poole Roofing late at night, Mark Poole called me at 8:20 the next morning and said he was on the roof at his first job and was coming to see me next. He and the crew arrived before 9:00am and my roof problem was diagnosed as a small hole, and an emergency patched was applied in about 15 minutes. This was fantastic service and a great peace of mind with the unknown effects of the hurricane looming. I have known Mark Poole for many years. Our first encounter was when we had a strange leak by our chimney just a few years after we had a brand new roof put on. It appears that the original roof construction was at fault, and the roofer (not Poole) who had replaced our roof just put back the same problem. Mark Poole designed a long term repair that did not involve rebuilding the roof and we have never had a leak again. More recently, we had a leak around our skylight. Mark came and checked it out, sealed or patched everything that could possibly be a problem, and when the skylight guy kept insisting that the problem was the roof, not the skylight I told him that Mark had checked it out and was sure it was not the roof. Turns out, the skylight guy also knew Mark Poole, and he said if Mark said it was not the roof, then it must be the skylight. They replaced the plastic panel on the skylight, and it turns out Mark was right, the problem has been cured and no more leaks. Mark Poole is the first person whose name I give out any time someone has a roof issue and is looking for a trustworthy roofer.

Excellent. They were pleasant, professional, and fit me in as soon as they could due to rain storms and fear of water damage. Workers came on time as stated and worked quickly and professionally. Mr. and Mrs. Poole take their work seriously and to heart which is not often the case anymore. Additionally, when we thought the leak was back they "squeezed us" in two time to ensure all was well. I highly recommend them and only wish they did full roof replacement because I trust them!

They worked quickly and well. We set an appointment time 10 days ahead. They showed up on time, did the work and charged exactly what they quoted, which I appreciated. I couldn't be happier.

He was excellent. He came when he said he would and he was very nice. He came back again even though it was pouring down rain to squeeze me in his schedule

As I only received an estimate, so far the company seem very responsive and  reasonable compared to others that I received estimates. I did sign a contract to have the work done, and as it was not an emergency they repairs won't start until the end of October.
I accepted their estimate and scheduled our roof to be repaired. They gave me a date of Oct. 29th, which was fine with me. Oct 29th they came and started work immediately. They were excellent. They cleaned up everything around the yard. Mr. Poole took
pictures of what they had done to the roof so that I could see. He also said if their was any problems his work was guaranteed for 5 years. In addition, I had just bought a hunch for my home and he had his employees carry it in for me.  I think he is terrific and would recommend him to anyone who wanted a new or repaired roof.

I did get 3 proposals. 
This proposal seemed inflated to me.
The repairs in the quote also seemed inflated.
I say no more !!!

• This was my second roofing job with Pooles and it went without a hitch. I originally contracted Poole's to do the above repairs in February but I had some unexpected household expenses come up and was unable to proceed. In early March when I had the funds to proceed my job was put on the calendar within two weeks at the earlier agreed upon price. They arrived on the day we scheduled and proceeded to make the repairs. They were courteous, and proffessional and cleaned up the debri when they left. They answered all of my questions and were knowledgable. My tiles are not made anymore so they had to find matching tiles. To make the roof look good, they took tiles from the back valley to replace broken tiles in the front. I was worried about the flashing and how it would look but they did a great job. The original quote was for approximately 30 broken or cracked tiles but they wound up replacing over 90 tiles but they did not adjust the invoice. I will continue to use Poole's for my roof repairs. Thanks Elizabeth and Mark, you make a great team.

We have used this company many times in the past.  They are excellent and professional.  We recommend them to others.

They came out when they said they would. The estimate was fair. The gentlemen seems liked a reasonable and fair person.

I thought they were very reasonable, and did a very good job.  The price was also good.

I would rate my experience with Poole's Roofing and Repairs as A++. I called them in November to repair what I saw as a rotten soffit corner. They came right away and pointed out to me that all of the soffit corners were rotted. I had to wait until January to get the repairs done because they were booked until then but it was well worth the wait.

I found Elizabeth, the wife of the owner and the person who does all the booking and answers the phone to be very responsive and helpful. When they started the job they called me and let me know who was going to be there and how long the job would take. There were two workers there, a supervisor and a helper for four days. They were mindful of my renters, cleaned up as they went and answered any questions that I had.

The day before they finished, took pictures of the job and emailed them to Elizabeth. By the time I got there the next day, they had all of my concerns addressed.

I would highly recommend Poole's Roofing to my Angies List friends. It is well worth the wait.

I would highly recommend them. They did a nice job for me last month. They charged about $500. They were prompt and did a good job. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and left when they said they were going to leave. They were English speaking people who were easy to communicate with. As a matter of fact, if I have more trouble on my roof, I would call them.

I was pleased with their work.
