They began work on time and were delayed only slightly. The business was moving its location as we were making plans for the condo, and there was not much time available to help us as we planned and made choices. We had been told to exepct more involvement. At first we considererd the work well done, with slight corrections needed. But when we noticed more flaws or difficulties, the response of the contractor was defensive, rude, unhelpful. The furniture that was moved out of the condo for the remodeling was not protected as promised and came back knicked and superficially damaged, yet he contractor would take no responsibility for this and said our furniture "was old." The new rug was stained somewhere in the process of moving furniture back in, and again the contractor would not be engaged to address or correct the stains. One hanging cabinet was not rehung at its previous height, and we had to push hard to have it reinstalled where it had been. Currently, we have been trying to have 2 minor repairs done, but have not been able to make contact with the office, The biggest complaint we have is with the curt, dismissive, egotistical attitude of the younger brother of the business. We want to think the problems we discovered could have been resolved professionally and fairly, but they were not, and this has colored the entire experience in a negative way. The remodeling work was almost satisfactory, but the interpersonal communication was definitely not.

Palm Brothers Inc. built a very large wall unit/entertainment unit for us and we are very pleased with how it looks in our great room. The fine carpentry work they did gave it the high quality look we were hoping for. Both brothers were very easy to work with and always responsive to our emails, phone calls and questions. They were most enjoyable to be around, very hard workers and extremely professional. They cleaned up every night and were promptly at our house each morning. The job was completed it seemed in no time.
Their estimate was right on target and there were no hidden charges. We thought the price we paid for our entertainment unit was very reasonable. One company gave us an estimate which was over twice what we paid the Palm Brothers.

The two brothers are very reliable. They do very high quality work, building high quality furniture. Their work is very neat and clean. THey are very punctual. They are very tight as far as all the legal requirements, they take it seriously. I gave a B on price, simply because of the quality and time they put in to their work is a lot better.
