From the very beginning, approximately 5 years ago, we were struck by how long it took to get a return phone call. Our agent, ray Faubian, would take days and a number of calls. No apologies at all. It just appeared that he felt too important to call us back. Keep in mind that that we had a pretty expensive policy at $7,000.00 per year. Now fast forward to 2013. Our policy is coming up for renewal and we wanted a call back. We dont even know who our agent is anymore. Ray is either still there or not. The company is still totally unresponsive. Three calls yesterday with no call back. Upon my wife's demand to speak to someone the receptionist promised a connection immediately but put her on hold for over 10 minutes. Obviously she had been forgotten. So my wife called back stating what had happened and told the receptionist that we will be taking our business elsewhere. This also had no effect. Over the years this has been the basic theme at this company. I thought that the change of ownership to BB&T Bank might make a difference but it's still the same. If you want service and to feel valued you need to look elsewhere.
