The air-conditioning unit still did not work after they attempted to repair it. They made four trips to my place and replaced the internal condenser unit and the condenser valve. They also replaced the compressor outside which was the other major component and spent quite a bit of time doing that and a lot of other repair stuff. They did not end up charging me too much for that work or try to collect after they did not succeed. I spent about $300 for that work. They were friendly and probably decent for smaller things that are wrong. As far as being technical competent and diagnostic savvy, I don?t believe that they are either.

My air conditioner wasn't working on a Saturday. I called three companies, but all I got was an answering machine or voice mail. Nobody returned my call. So I called One Hour Air Conditioning. Someone answered the phone and took my name, number and my problem, and said they would have their repairman call me. A nice man named Scott came out in less than an hour. He was in uniform with an ID badge, and he put shoe covers on before coming in my house. He checked out my system and found the problem. He told me how much it would be before he repaired it, and for a Saturday, I thought it was very reasonable. He installed two different parts, then got it running, and checked the temperatures to make sure everything was working right. Then he gave me a two year guarantee on parts and labor! I wanted to hug him, but instead I thanked him and offered him a little tip, but he declined. He was so nice, I would tell my friends to ask for him if their air conditioner ever breaks down.
