We arrived at the house on a Thursday to find the house not ready for occupancy. The heating/AC didn't work, the smoke detectors didn't work; the pool and spa were dirty and too cold to use, and the wireless Internet connections didn't work. Most of these things were fixed over the next few days: the AC was fixed Friday; the pool was warm enough to use on Saturday; the pool was cleaned and the spa was hot on Monday; the wireless never worked, but the hard-wired Internet connection worked fine. The rental agent and Mari Vesci both agreed to reimburse us for our out-of-pocket expenses (about $13 mostly for new batteries). We also asked for some refund because for the first few days we were not getting all the facilities we were paying for. But to date, they have paid us nothing. They have not even responded to our numerous emails and phone messages. They owe us money and are refusing to communicate. It has now been two months since the end of the rental and we have heard nothing.
